The downstairs flows beautifully from the living area into the kitchen (and yes, it’s a real kitchen where you could actually cook if you wanted to), while upstairs you get this bedroom that honestly feels like a private retreat. The windows up there are something else – I found myself just sitting there in the morning with coffee, watching the city wake up below. There’s this quality of light that comes through that makes everything feel sort of golden and peaceful.

You know what really sold me on this place though? It’s those little details that show someone actually thought about how people live and move through a space. The storage is thoughtful – there are enough closets and drawers that you can actually unpack and settle in, which makes such a difference when you’re staying more than just a night or two. The bathroom setup works perfectly for the maisonette layout, and I appreciated that they didn’t try to cram in some massive soaking tub just for show – everything feels proportional and usable.   The apartment is big and has 2 very nice balconies with beautiful views. Close to trams station T6 that take you directly to downtown.
  The host is very nice and we communicated very well via whatsapp.
  We spent 3 beautiful day with family.

  Extremely spacious apartment/penthouse, we were a group of 8 and absolutely loved it. Host was nice and communicative.
  
  What could be improved: You need to take the taxi for 15 minutes/tram for 20-30 to get to the touristic areas of Athens, but we didn't mind it that much.

  Unfortunately our arrival & stay was not pleasurable. The ‘penthouse’ was not cleaned appropriately, the fridge leaked, 3/4 dining room chairs where broken at the back with screws in the back from previous breaks, the bathroom was mouldy, and the hot water didn’t shower everyone until the owner mentioned AFTER, there is a switch to heat more up. After leaving, the owner has sent message after message, trying to swindle the fact our group has broken basin in bathroom, toilet seat, dining room chairs and have bathroom mats missing. the lid for the toilet was left off as it was not secured properly to the seat when we first arrived in the first place. As for anything else we barley where in the apartment and the one day we where we had electrical company banging on the door requesting owner has not paid power bill. We are sad to say the only thing that ruined our trip was I this stay. We are very disappointed with the end of our stay and the result after woods.. and having the owner has called us a liar when it is clear there was motive the whole time. The owner is blinded by these facts, the apartment is old with old furnishings and wear and tear that has been sustained over many visits to this apartment. Unfortunately I do not recommend for fellow travellers who have travelled an extremely long way.
