You know what? I was honestly skeptical when I first heard about 24K Athena Suites – I mean, that name sounds almost too fancy, right? But after staying there twice now, I get why this place has a 9.4 rating. It’s one of those hotels that actually lives up to the hype, which is rare these days.

The suites themselves are what really got me. I’m talking proper space here – not those cramped “junior suites” where you can barely fit your suitcase. The living areas feel like someone’s well-appointed apartment rather than a hotel room, with these gorgeous marble touches that don’t feel cold or sterile. Actually, the whole place has this warm, residential vibe that makes you want to kick off your shoes immediately. The bathrooms are ridiculous in the best way – I spent way too much time in that rainfall shower, and honestly, the toiletries smell like something from a high-end spa. You’ll probably end up taking photos of the marble vanity like I did (don’t judge me).

What really sets this place apart though is the service – and I’m usually pretty cynical about hotel staff. But these folks seem to genuinely care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth as butter, no waiting around with your bags while they fumble through the system. The housekeeping team actually pays attention to how you arrange your stuff, which sounds small but makes a huge difference when you’re staying multiple nights. I mean, they even remembered I preferred extra pillows without me having to ask twice. The concierge knows their stuff too – gave me some solid restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. One thing I appreciated was how quiet everything stayed, even when the hotel seemed pretty full. You know how some places have those paper-thin walls where you hear every conversation? Not an issue here. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevators can be a bit slow during peak hours, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for most hotels this size. If you’re looking for a place that feels luxurious without being stuffy or pretentious, this is your spot. It’s got that sweet spot of being polished enough for a special occasion but comfortable enough that you’d actually want to hang out in your room.

  The property is located on a pedestrian only street which is full of shoppers during the day but very quiet at night. And it’s only two blocks from Monasteraki square! Christos, our host, was super helpful with check in and check out as well as with recommendations for grocery stores and laundromat!

  Excellent location and a very comfortable bed! Fantastic view. Great balcony. Very clean apartment, bathroom super clean. Very friendly owner and welcoming assistant, taking suitcases.
  
  What could be improved: Could do with more cutlery and cups, a clothes rack for wet clothes and a cupboard for clothes. A little pricy.

  The apartament is located in the good part of Athens, every days was cleaned . Enough for two people , from balcony Acropolis view.

  Beautiful view of the Acropolis! Room was very comfortable, great shower and the little extras – shampoo, conditioner, body wash, slippers etc. – were and added bonus.
  
  What could be improved: Not a negative – just a good to know. Although there is a lift from the 1st to 4th floor, there are stairs from ground level to floor 1 as well as stairs when you enter the apartment, and they are a bit tricky when you have heavy suitcases.
