The location puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the major sites without being in the thick of the tourist chaos. Early morning coffee on the terrace while watching the light hit the Parthenon? Yeah, that’s a thing here, and it never gets old. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed a few nights – it’s those little touches that add up, like actually decent water pressure, blackout curtains that work, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, no drama or hidden fees that pop up later. You know what really impressed me though? The quiet. For being in Athens, you’d expect more street noise, but something about the building’s position and design keeps things peaceful, especially at night when you actually want to sleep. The only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times, but when you’re staying in a penthouse, you sort of expect to wait a beat for the ride up.

  Everything was fabulous. The staff was quick to respond to any messages or questions we had. We stayed here before we boarded our cruise ship. The staff took our bags and held them while we explored Athens and they were able to get us in the apartment early. The location could not have been better–we were within a short walking distance to the Acropolis and the Plaka.
