Honestly, when I first walked into ACRON suites & apartments, I wasn’t expecting much – you know how some 4-star places can feel a bit tired or generic. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The lobby has this modern, clean aesthetic that doesn’t try too hard, and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests walk through the door. I mean, you can tell when someone’s just going through the motions versus when they actually care about your stay.

What really sets ACRON apart is the apartment-style setup – and I’m talking proper apartments, not those cramped hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner and calling it a “kitchenette.” The suites have actual living spaces where you can spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The kitchens are surprisingly well-equipped too (I actually cooked a decent breakfast there, which never happens when I travel). The bedrooms are separate from the living areas, which sounds obvious but you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong. It’s perfect if you’re staying more than just a night or two, or honestly, even if you just want some extra breathing room after a long day of meetings or sightseeing.

The whole place runs really smoothly – check-in was quick, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (tested it myself), and the housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work. You know what impressed me most though? The little details that show they’re paying attention. Fresh towels that actually smell clean, not like industrial detergent. Windows that open properly if you want some fresh air. Decent water pressure in the shower – I mean, these things matter when you’re trying to feel human after traveling. The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there because it’s not flashy or over-the-top, it’s just consistently good at the things that actually matter. I’ve stayed at fancier places that left me more frustrated than relaxed, but ACRON just gets the fundamentals right and adds enough thoughtful touches to make you feel like they want you there.

  Location was perfect for walking Plaka, Acropolis and Syntagma Square. So many restaurants and bars minutes away. We didn't need to take any taxis anywhere. The hot tub was excellent for resting our feet after big days of walking around sightseeing.

  Beautiful 1 bed apartment with every amenity. Luxurious bathroom with generous shower and good extractor. Very nice linens, including towels for the hot tub. Comfortable Super King bed with high quality linens and plenty of pillows. The apartment felt very private. Effective air con. Large terrace with retractable awning over, and very clean two person hot tub. Sunny on the terrace in the morning for sunbathing. Good noise reduction on the floor to ceiling windows. Large fridge, plus hob and microwave. Coffee machine with pods (no decaff). Dining space. Comfortable seating throughout was useful for my early waking husband. Convenience store and coffee shop downstairs. We felt very secure with multi-locking entrance door.
  Daily housekeeping was very good, and they waited patiently every day for us to go out before coming in to check the bins and towels.

  Lovely appartment and in a great location. Staff were very helpful, booked taxies for us when needed, changed the towels and serviced the hot tub whilst out. We even had a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable

  The apartment is the perfect location for exploring Athens. It’s a little peaceful haven above the bustling street below – checking in was super easy and the hosts arranged a taxi from the airport so everything was very slick.

  The apartment was in a perfect location only a couple minutes walk from a ton of restaurants and the entrance to the acropolis. The unit itself was very clean and the patio was huge with a stunning view. Being able to take it in from the hot tub was a great bonus.

  It’s a small living space but the outdoor patio with a large hot tub more than makes up for it. A spectacular view of the pantheon on top of the acropolis from the hot tub. There’s really nice seating outside as well, a great space. The room itself was nice and clean and updated with all you need for a few nights. The location is good with easy walking to the acropolis and restaurants.
