Here’s the thing that sold me completely though – the neighborhood knowledge you get just from the location. You’re tucked away enough that you feel like you’ve discovered some secret local spot, but you’re literally minutes from everything that matters. I found this tiny bakery around the corner that clearly only locals know about (the kind where pointing and smiling gets you the best pastries), and there’s this little square where old Greek men play backgammon every afternoon that’s become my favorite people-watching spot. The building itself has that solid, substantial feel of real stone construction – none of that hollow modern stuff – so it stays cool during the day and quiet at night. I actually slept better here than I have anywhere in months, which probably says something about both the bed quality and the lack of street noise.   Beautiful Apartment, everything amazing, clean 😍 I will definitely choose same place in Athens. It was not too far to go anywhere. You can see everything with walking. All places are about 30 minutes from the apartment.

  The apartment was amazing, and the host was always very responsive. There were very clear directions as to how to find the property and gain access. It was spotlessly clean throughout and contained all we needed for our one week stay. Good WiFi and efficient air conditioning units.As mentioned, the apartment is only a few minutes walk from the metro station giving easy access to all the sights, bars and restaurants. Also loved the little balcony !
  
  What could be improved: As others have mentioned, the immediate area is somewhat run down , but if the apartment is being used as a base to explore further afield this isn't really a problem.

  Very convenient location, walking distance to all main attractions, cozy and spacious apartments with a nice view on palm trees and Akropolis in the distance. It was very clean and comfortable when I arrived, the staff turned on the air conditioning and tv in advance so it felt more welcoming when I arrived late at night. Communication with the landlord felt efficient and very sweet, I loved every minute of my visit. The softest sofa in the main room gets additional 5 stars from me

  I liked everything! The host was very helpful with every question we had. The apartment was very very clean and the location of it is also good. Easy to take the subway exactly to Acropolis with no need to change subways . The host also prepared us a map with markets and how to use the subway. Easy to check in, easy to check out, and the host also made sure we're safe and sound in the apartment which i found very nice ^^
