I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Acropolis Classy Apartments, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, how many places actually live up to “classy” in their name, you know? But this 4-star spot really surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk through the entrance, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. The lobby has this warm, lived-in elegance – not the sterile marble-everywhere vibe you get at so many Athens hotels.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to balance that apartment-style independence with proper hotel service. The units themselves feel like someone’s well-appointed Athens flat rather than a generic hotel room. I’m talking actual kitchen setups where you can make morning coffee without those terrible pod machines, and living spaces where you can actually spread out your stuff without tripping over the bed. The bathrooms – honestly, this is where a lot of places cut corners – are genuinely spacious with rainfall showers that have proper water pressure. You know that thing where you’re never quite sure if the hot water will last? Not an issue here.

The location works really well if you want to feel connected to the city without being right in the tourist chaos. You’re close enough to walk to the major sites (the Acropolis views from some units are pretty spectacular, especially at sunset), but you’re also in a neighborhood where you’ll see actual Athenians going about their day. There’s this little bakery about two blocks away that locals line up at every morning – the kind of place you’d never find if you were staying in the hotel district. Parking can be a bit tricky like everywhere in Athens, but the staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real advice about where to leave your car if you’re driving. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no weird deposit holds, just genuine helpfulness. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there for a day or two. It’s not flashy or trying too hard to impress, but everything just… works. And works well.

  Tiene una muy buena ubicación está al lado del metro Acropolis

  What could be improved: Un poco caro. La pieza de al medio solo se cubre con un pasador de vidrios y una cortina delgada (Podrían cambiar a una cortina gruesa)

  The location could not have been more perfect – directly opposite the Acropolis museum and 2 minutes walk from the entrance to the Acropolis itself. We could walk to Plaka and beyond easily – everything we wanted to see was very accessible. Access was easy and in fact the lady at the reception desk welcomed us by taking us up to the private roof area, just to show us the view of the Acropolis – which was stunning. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean. We didn't use the kitchen much as there were too many good restaurants nearby – but it was well-equipped. Finally, the host was very responsive when I had a couple of queries. Highly recommend.

  Top zentrale Lage. Genau gegenüber der Akropolis, zu deren Eingang es höchstens 100 Meter sind. Ebenso zum neuen Akropolismuseum, welches sich gleich gegenüber befindet. Sobald man das Appartement verläßt befindet man sich voll im Leben. Sehr viele Cafés und Tavernen direkt vor der Nase und im weiteren Umfeld der Plaka. Viele nette Geschäfte und die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Appartement selber ist nach hinten raus gelegen. Man schaut auf einen sehr schönen mit hohem Baumbestand bestehenden Innenhof. Es ist sehr ruhig und nichts stört einen geruhsamen Schlaf. Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und stets erreichbar.
  
  What could be improved: Ein Stuhl oder Sessel im Schlafzimmer, um Sachen ablegen zu können wäre schön gewesen. Soll aber nur als Hinweis dienen, nicht als Kritik.

  Fantastic location near the main attraction. The facilities are well-maintained, making it a lovely apartment. I would definitely choose this place again for a future visit.
