The common areas have this lived-in elegance that works really well, and honestly, the 4-star rating feels about right. It’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it’s definitely a step up from your typical budget accommodation. What really struck me was how they’ve managed to create spaces that work whether you’re a solo backpacker or traveling with family – I mean, you’ll see people planning their next adventure over coffee in the morning alongside business travelers checking emails.

The staff actually knows what they’re talking about when you ask for recommendations, which is rarer than it should be these days. They’re not just reciting the same tourist traps everyone visits – they’ll point you toward that little taverna that’s packed with locals or tell you the best time to hit the major sites when the crowds thin out. The 8.0 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days; it’s one of those places that grows on you as you discover the small details they got right. Sure, it’s not perfect – the WiFi can be spotty in some rooms (though it works fine in common areas), and if you’re expecting luxury amenities, you might want to adjust your expectations. But there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on being genuinely helpful rather than flashy. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to spend time in them, not just crash after long days of sightseeing.   The interior is lovely, beds were comfortable and most importantly clean. All of us were well rested the 3 nights we were there
  
  What could be improved: Apartment is on top of a slope , can be quite a journey to go uphill and down especially for the elderly

  The Acropolis view was amazing. Big and comfortable bedrooms.

  We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful apartment in Athens as a group of 8, two families, and it was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the city without any hassle. The apartment is incredibly spacious, perfectly set up for large groups, and spotlessly clean, which we truly appreciated. There wasn’t a single thing to complain about! A special thank you to the hosts, who were genuinely amazing—kind, attentive, and always available. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!

  Location – but this made no difference after the extremely traumatic experience that we had.
  
  What could be improved: The situation has been extremely distressing.
  I had a 24-hour flight from Athens back home, which was made very uncomfortable due to the pain and itchiness of the bites of the bed bugs.
  Upon landing, I immediately sought medical attention, booking an urgent appointment within two hours.
  The doctor confirmed that the bites were now infected, and I was prescribed antibiotics for 2 weeks as well as a cream to apply to my entire body to manage the infection.
  Additionally, I travelled with two family friends who have not yet shown signs of bed bug bites in their respective bedrooms. However, this remains a concern, especially since one of my family members has anaphylaxis, which could lead to severe health complications if exposed to the bed bugs. We are hoping this does not become an issue.
  This has caused a great deal of discomfort and stress, and the entire situation is absolutely unacceptable.
  It has been now 5 days that I have emailed through to the Owners/Managers of the property and they have not even responded in any way.
  Extremely disappointed in their lack of communication.
  Clearly this property was not cleaned properly at all.
  You spend so much money on accommodation and have an expectation that it is cleaned and ready for the next person.

  The area was great! The property was clean. The host responsive.
  
  What could be improved: Had a hard time ordering an Uber to come to the location. I was asked to meet my driver at 3 different locations that were in close proximity and it’s not convenient when you’re carrying heavy luggage.

  Excellent location, ambiance of the premises, ready access to mini market. The roof terrace was spectacular in the evenings.
  
  What could be improved: The house contents for self catering were new, clean and in sufficient quantities, but it a lacked some basic kitchen items such as bowls (other than cereal bowls), scissors, tea towels etc. Washing machine worked well but leaked. The ensuite toilet seat could do with renewing.

  The view on the terrasse is everything. Also good to point that there is also equipments (fridge) on the terrasse. And it was quite location so nice for good sleeping and close to everything

  The view of the acropolis is amazing from the house and the rooftop. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. It is a very short walk to the acropolis. The air conditioning works great which is a must in the summer months in Athens.

  The location of the house was great. Having a private entrance was wonderful. You can spend quality time with friends on the rooftop while enjoying a superb view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Now, we have a clear address in Athens 👍
