Acropolis Premium Residence Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of places in Athens, and Acropolis Premium Residence honestly surprised me in the best way possible. When I first walked into the lobby, there was this immediate sense that someone actually cared about the details here – you know what I mean? Not just the obvious stuff, but like, the way the lighting hits the marble floors just right, and how the staff remembers your name after one night.
The rooms are what really got me though. I mean, calling it a “residence” isn’t just marketing fluff – these feel like actual apartments where you could settle in for weeks. The kitchenette actually works (I made coffee every morning, and yes, they stock real coffee, not that instant nonsense), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that doesn’t make you feel like you’re being attacked by angry water droplets. The beds are properly firm too, which honestly matters more than most people think when you’re walking around Athens all day. I could hear a bit of street noise in the evenings, but nothing that kept me awake – actually kind of nice having that gentle urban hum reminding you you’re in the heart of the city.
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment independence. The front desk team – especially this guy Dimitris who works the afternoon shift – seems to genuinely know the neighborhood. He pointed me toward this tiny family taverna about three blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and steered me away from the tourist trap places that look authentic but charge double for half the experience. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive (they actually fold your clothes if you leave them on the chair, which is such a small thing but makes you feel looked after), and there’s this subtle attention to detail everywhere. Fresh flowers in the hallways get changed regularly, the elevator is always spotless, and someone clearly monitors the Wi-Fi because it actually works consistently – rare for a four-star place, honestly.
The location puts you close enough to everything that matters without being right in the chaos of the main tourist zones. You’re walking distance to the good stuff, but you can also duck back to your room in the middle of the day without it feeling like a major expedition. That 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Athens, but it absolutely nails being the kind of place where you can actually relax and feel at home while you’re exploring the city. I ended up extending my stay by two nights, which should tell you something.
Apartments in Athens provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Greek markets and cook with fresh Mediterranean ingredients.

Excellent location! Extremely comfortable for our family of 5. The beds were fabulous. The showers had great pressure. Strong WiFi as well. We would definitely choose on a future trip to Plaka!
What could be improved: Nothing!Julie from United States – 10 February 2025 (10/10)
Location, separate bathrooms and spacious. We had a couple issues and they were addressed immediately. Chris was a wonderful check in host!
Aura from Greece – 14 December 2024 (9/10)
Absolutely great location, very easy to walk everywhere but also very quiet at night.
What could be improved: I forgot my supercharger before checking out and the process to return it, although understandably automatized, proved to be ridiculously expensive. Communication, although prompt and efficient, wasn't particularly customer oriented.Haim from Israel – 2 December 2024 (10/10)
Spacious apartment, close to the center but quiet.

The location is great. close to very nice Tavernas, Coffee shops and stores. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and there's a nice balcony as well. We find it very easy to reach and enter even at night and felt safe and welcomed. The apartment is also very close to the national garden which is a wonderful place to visit with kids
What could be improved: It's a great placeJulianne from Australia – 4 October 2024 (9/10)
Very central location with easy access to great food and sight seeing. Each room was large with its own bathroom. The lift also made getting our luggage up easy. This was a nice change from many other European apartments.
