I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Acropolis Stylish Suite, I was expecting something a bit pretentious, you know? But this 4-star place actually delivers on the “stylish” part without being stuffy about it. The lobby hits you with this clean, modern Greek aesthetic that somehow manages to feel both sleek and warm at the same time. There’s this beautiful interplay of marble and wood that – well, it just works.

What really got me though was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (always a relief after a long flight), and they actually remembered my name throughout the stay, which is rarer than it should be these days. The suites themselves are spacious – I mean really spacious, not just “spacious for Europe” – with these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in incredible natural light. The bathroom alone is bigger than some hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, complete with this rainfall shower that I honestly didn’t want to leave. The kitchenette is well-equipped too, perfect if you want to grab some fresh ingredients from the local markets and have a quiet meal in.

Location-wise, you’re positioned really well for exploring Athens without being right in the tourist chaos. I could walk to several authentic tavernas that locals actually frequent – not the overpriced tourist traps you’ll find closer to the main attractions. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel where you’ll hear kids playing in the courtyards and smell coffee brewing from the café downstairs in the mornings. Parking can be a bit tricky (it’s Athens, after all), but the hotel staff helped sort that out without any drama. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place where small thoughtful touches add up to something really satisfying. Maybe it’s the quality linens that actually stay put on the bed, or the way the air conditioning works quietly without that rattling you get in cheaper places. Either way, I’d definitely stay here again, and that’s saying something because I’m usually the type who likes to try somewhere new each trip.

  The view of the Acropolis is amazing.
  The apartment was clean, and we were provided with bottles of water, bread, and margarine .

  A great and spacious apartment for a family. The views of the Acropolis on the roof top were amazing and really made the stay more magical.

  The AC worked just PERFECT ! It had been so so hot, and we cannot speak enough about the AC, so Thank u guys! There are 3 AC’s in the apartment. Location was great! The view of the acropolis was from the terrace, also from the balcony but was too hot anyways to sit in either place. There is a bakery, supermarket, restaurant, gift shop, cafe etc right below the apartment. Very spacious from inside.

  The location is fantastic. It’s a quick walk up to the acropolis as well as the Plaka neighbourhood. There are plentiful restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby too. The apartment is large and comfortable, and who can forget the fantastic view of the Acropolis and Parthenon from the veranda as well as the rooftop! We were only in Athens for two nights, and it was the perfect spot to base ourselves for exploring the surrounding area. We also appreciated the friendly and efficient communication from Takis leading up to and throughout our stay.
  
  What could be improved: The bed off the lounge room is quite uncomfortable, so much so that we opted to share a room with our toddler in order to get better sleep. The main bed is extremely comfortable!
