So I stumbled upon this Acropolis view 4 bedroom flat during my last Athens trip, and honestly? It’s one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. The name pretty much says it all – you wake up to the Acropolis literally framed in your window, which never gets old, I mean never. Even after staying there for a week, I’d still catch myself doing double-takes at that view while making morning coffee.

The space itself is proper big – four bedrooms means you’re not tripping over each other’s luggage, which is honestly refreshing after all those cramped European hotel rooms. It’s got this lived-in feel that actually works in its favor, you know? The furniture’s comfortable rather than Instagram-perfect, and the kitchen‘s actually equipped for real cooking (found that out when we hit the local market and went a bit overboard with the olives and feta). The air conditioning works well – crucial detail since Athens can get brutally hot, especially if you’re visiting in July or August like we did. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it’s more authentic city sounds than anything disruptive, and honestly, it dies down pretty nicely in the evenings.

What really sold me on this place is how it sits in the neighborhood – you’re close enough to walk to all the major sites (the Acropolis Museum is maybe fifteen minutes on foot), but you’re also in an area where actual Athenians live and work. There’s this little bakery two blocks down that makes these incredible spinach pies, and the owner started recognizing us by day three, which felt pretty special. The metro’s accessible without being right on top of you, so you can easily hop around the city but you’re not dealing with constant tourist foot traffic right outside your door. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’ve got a rental car – typical narrow Athens streets – but honestly, you probably won’t need one much from this location. The 8.0 rating feels about right; it’s solidly good without being fancy, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re more interested in exploring the city than hanging around your accommodation all day.

  The flat was very spacious and clean, we really liked it there. It is close to all the main areas.

  We liked the flat, it was clean, well desinged in terms of furniture, and well accessorised which made our stay very convenient! We also liked the location, near the metro and near the center of Athens, within walking distance. The staff was very efficient and answered all our quedtions quickly on chat through booking.com. On the whole, we enjoyed our stay very much, and warmly recommend this flat to others.
  
  What could be improved: The fact that one room was connected to the other by a glass door. We were not told about it in advance, and it created a bit of inconvenience. Also, we were under the impression that there were 3 bathrooms (according to the advertisement), while there were only 2 bathrooms with toilets, and one more toilet. I think that these things should be clear in advance.

  The flat was very clean and well equipped, location is also good near to metro, but I can not tell the same about neighborhood. We were in winter and it was little bit chilly, since heating is scheduled, but I think it's general problem for the city. Also we head some problem with water wich was easly solved by the staff even though it was late evening, therefore you count on the staff.To sum up I recommend the flet

  Coming up to the actual apartment was fairly easy (given the direct instructions provided by the owner). Building, as well as the apartment itself, were very tidy. Spacious, with a generous amount of natural light coming from both sides. Everything we would need was already there and then some (like the welcoming wine and some candy!). Terraces on both sides ensured you have light during the whole day, you can sunbathe even during the winter months. It’s practical location makes it easy to explore much of the city by foot, and given that it’s situated on the main street, finding a taxi is not a problem.

  This flat was spacious, great central location only 5 min walk to metro and very comfortable and clean. Towels and bedding were great quality and it has a secure front entrance.
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't until we arrived we were told the area wasn't a great area to stay, lots of drug dealers, homeless and prostitutes. Coffee shop over the road warned us to look after our bags at night. To be fair we had the best stay and did go out at night went to a restraunt 5 min walk away which was lovely and we didn't feel unsafe walking just made sure we were aware of our surroundings
