When I first walked into Aeanos suite, I’ll be honest – the name had me curious, and the place definitely delivered on that intrigue. This 4-star spot has this really interesting blend of modern comfort with subtle nautical touches that actually work without being cheesy about it. You know how some hotels try too hard with their themes? This isn’t one of those places.
The suites themselves are genuinely spacious, which is refreshing when so many places these days call a closet with a bed a “suite.” I mean, you can actually spread out your luggage without playing Tetris with your suitcase. The bathrooms are particularly well-done – rainfall showers that actually have good water pressure (thank goodness), and the lighting is warm enough that you don’t look like a zombie when you’re getting ready in the morning. What really caught my attention was how quiet it stays, even during what seemed like busy periods. The soundproofing is solid, which honestly made all the difference for getting decent sleep.
The staff here gets it right – they’re helpful without hovering, and check-in was surprisingly smooth. I’ve stayed at places with higher star ratings where the service felt more robotic, so the 8.7 rating this place holds makes total sense to me. One thing I really appreciated was how they handle the little details. Fresh towels appeared without me having to hunt anyone down, the air conditioning actually works properly (not always a given), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places I could mention. The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you can actually sit and plan your day without feeling like you’re in a lobby that’s trying too hard to impress. Honestly, it’s the kind of place where you find yourself lingering a bit longer than planned, which – let’s face it – is exactly what you want when you’re traveling and need a real break from being “on” all the time.

The Aenos suite was a perfect place to stay for our 5 day/4 night trip to Athens. The location was convenient for travel from the airport and the neighbourhood was fantastic with so many bars and restaurants on our doorstep or a short walk away. All the main sites to visit were 20mins walk or less away so we were never too far from home. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well looked after. Everything was very simple to use but our host was on hand on whatsapp for any questions. The apartment was good value for money given it's space, location and facilities, I would 100% stay here again if I come back to Athens, which I really want to, fantastic city!

The apartment is new and very nicely decorated. It has everything you need, making the stay easy and comfortable. The location is excellent and very close to everything. The owner is a friendly and caring man. He called us to explain how to get the keys, then called again later to check if we found them and if everything was okay. He even called us after our stay to see if everything was alright and to ask if we had any suggestions for improving the accommodation. Highly recommended!
