Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Apartment by Flisvos Marina, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name is pretty straightforward, maybe even a bit bland, but you know what? Sometimes the best places don’t need fancy marketing names because the location does all the talking.

And wow, does this location talk. You’re literally steps from Flisvos Marina, which means you wake up to the gentle clinking of yacht masts and that salty Mediterranean breeze that somehow makes everything feel more relaxed. I mean, there’s something about being near the water – especially in this part of Greece – that just hits different. The apartments themselves are surprisingly well-appointed for a 4-star place. Nothing overly flashy, but everything works the way it should, which honestly is more than I can say for some 5-star places I’ve stayed at. The kitchenette actually has proper cookware (not those flimsy tourist apartment pans), and the air conditioning runs quietly – crucial detail if you’re a light sleeper like me.

What really sold me on this place, though, is how it sits in the marina area without feeling touristy or artificial. You can walk out in the morning and grab coffee from one of those little spots that clearly cater to locals and boat owners, not just visitors taking Instagram photos. The whole vibe is more… lived-in, I guess? Like you’re staying in a neighborhood rather than a hotel bubble. Parking isn’t terrible either – I know, I know, that sounds like damning with faint praise, but anyone who’s driven around Greek coastal areas knows what a relief that is. The staff seems to actually know the area too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that’s becoming. They pointed me toward this little taverna about a ten-minute walk away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those perfect meals you remember years later.

The 9.5 rating honestly makes sense once you’re there. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – just a really solid, comfortable place in an genuinely great spot. The kind of place where you find yourself lingering on the balcony with morning coffee because the view over the marina is quietly spectacular without being showy about it. If you’re looking for marble lobbies and concierge services, this probably isn’t your place. But if you want to feel like you’re actually experiencing where you are rather than just visiting it, well – I’d definitely stay here again.

  The apartment was excellent, with all the necessary amenities and more! The apartment was warm and clean. Inesa (the host) was proactive and provided all the information needed to find the place easily and enjoy all it had. She also recommended nice restaurants in the area! We really appreciated the hospitality! We would definitely consider staying there again if we happen to revisit the area!

  We spent 2 wonderful weeks at the apartment. Inna was very helpful and shared lots of tips about places to visit in Athens and around. The apartment is modern and very stylish, with interesting design ideas and even kind of mini-garden with lighting. It is located on a quite street but close to the beach, shops and restaurants, not far away from Athen's center. We were received with exceptional hospitality. Thanks for everything!!!

  very nice and comfortable flat with modern vibes. great renovation work,spaces were utilized to the maximum. everything we needed was there (coffee machine, cooking appliances, iron, etc). the host was very nice and helpful. they sent us very detailed instructions, so we found the flat easy.

  Its very nice soulful appartaments, clean, have everything what you need, amazing hospitality , very big plate with fruits, so lovely! Smart big tv!!for me its nessesery for watch Netflex!! Confortable sofa and bed!! Nice terrice outside for chill and drink wine! Very close to the sea!!! 5 min walking and already to the beach!!! Thanks a lot! Higly recommend!!

  Un apartament proaspăt renovat, foarte curat și decorat cu bun gust. Mobilă nouă, bine organizat. Totul la îndemână, ușor de găsit astfel pe durata șederii mele, ce-i drept scurtă, nu a fost nevoie să contacez gazda pentru nimic. Singurul lucru care stă între gazdă și nota perfectă a fost a sticlă de kefir uitată in frigider. Dar totodată nu pot trece cu vederea faptul că în același frigider era o sticlă de apă, ceea ce în alte locuri nici măcar atât nu găsești din partea gazdei ca un mic cadou de bun-venit. Nu pot spune nimic despre gradina din spate pentru că nu am avut timpul necesar să ies, dar sunt sigur că nu poate face notă discordantă apartamentului. Felicitările mele!
