The WiFi is solid too, which matters if you’re trying to work remotely or just want to video call home without cutting out every thirty seconds. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and the heating worked perfectly – something worth mentioning because I’ve frozen in supposedly nice places before. The whole space feels clean and well-maintained, with those little touches that show someone cares about the details, like decent lighting for reading and enough outlets near the bed for your phone charger.

What really won me over was how the place strikes this balance between being in the thick of historic Athens while still feeling like a proper home base. You’re walking distance from the National Gardens when you need some green space, the Benaki Museum is practically next door if you’re into that sort of thing, and honestly, some of the best traditional tavernas are tucked away in the nearby neighborhoods. The 9.2 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, it’s just genuinely well-run and thoughtfully put together. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re living in Athens rather than just passing through, this place gets it right.

  Perfect location near the Parliament Bldg and hop on hop off buses! on a quiet pedestrian street, though there was some bldg repair across from the apartment. Sparkling clean and very efficient apartment with a great king sized bed, speedy WIFI, adorable kitchen and good rain head shower. We were able to store our luggage before check in, welcoming and friendly attendants in the parking garage where you retrieve keys steps away. Cafes very close by.
