The whole “art suites” concept isn’t just marketing fluff – they’ve actually committed to it in a way that feels authentic rather than forced. Each room has these carefully curated pieces (not your typical hotel prints), and honestly, it creates this atmosphere where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed apartment rather than a cookie-cutter hotel room. The suites themselves are more spacious than you’d expect, with these little nooks and corners that make the space feel lived-in. I mean, the bathroom in my suite had this gorgeous tile work that I spent way too much time admiring during my morning routine.

What really won me over, though, was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about the details that matter. Check-in was smooth – no awkward waiting around – and they actually remembered my name throughout the stay, which is rarer than it should be these days. The breakfast setup isn’t huge, but everything they do have is done well. Fresh pastries that actually taste like they were made that morning, decent coffee (thank goodness), and they switch up the offerings just enough that you’re not eating the exact same thing every day. There’s this quiet corner near the lobby where I’d sit with my coffee and plan out my day, and it became sort of my ritual. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the building too, which saved me when I needed to jump on some work calls. Now, it’s not perfect – the soundproofing could be better if you’re a light sleeper, and during busier periods you might hear some hallway chatter. But honestly, for what you’re paying, these feel like minor trade-offs. The location works well if you don’t mind a short walk to get to the main action, and I actually preferred having that little bit of distance from the tourist crowds when I wanted to unwind in the evening.
