I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Astonishing view, I rolled my eyes a little. I mean, how many hotels promise amazing views and then you end up staring at a parking lot, right? But this 4-star place actually delivers on that promise, and then some. The moment you walk into the lobby, you get it. There’s this floor-to-ceiling window situation that just opens up to… well, whatever they’re overlooking (and trust me, it’s worth it). The whole place has this relaxed elegance thing going on – not stuffy, but you know they pay attention to details.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area. The front desk guy – I think his name was Marcus – didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map. He actually marked up specific spots and told me when to avoid certain areas because of crowds. You know what I’m talking about – that insider knowledge you usually only get from locals. The rooms themselves are honestly pretty impressive for a 4-star. I was expecting the usual hotel room setup, but there’s thoughtful touches everywhere. The bathroom products didn’t smell like generic hotel soap, the bed was actually comfortable (not just looked comfortable), and – this might sound weird – but the lighting was perfect. Like, you could actually read without squinting or getting a headache.

The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s not just about the view, though that’s obviously the main draw. It’s all these little things that add up – the way housekeeping doesn’t wake you up at 7 AM, how the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, the fact that you don’t have to hunt down an ice machine. I stayed during what seemed like a pretty busy period, but it never felt chaotic or overcrowded. The common areas have this nice flow to them, and there are actually quiet spots where you can just sit and decompress without feeling like you’re in everyone’s way. If you’re the type who gets stressed about hotel stays – parking nightmares, noisy neighbors, lukewarm showers – this place sort of takes care of all that background anxiety so you can focus on whatever brought you to the area in the first place.

  What could be improved: Bit Far from Metro Station you have to take the bus to the metro but this was not at all an issue to me and my family

  Nice apartment with a big leaving room and a big balcony with view to the Lycabettus Hill and Acropolis.
  The location is close to the court, the area seemed safe to me. The bus stations is 2 min walk – so is very easy to reach the city center.

  Massive open apartment that had everything we needed. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The lady who owned the place was lovely and helpful.

  The apartment is very spacious, all the necessary facilities, air conditioning in all rooms, bathroom and toilet service.. It also has parking, which is a plus for the traffic in Athens.. Electra welcomed us warmly, offered us support in all our needs. Thank you Electra!!

  This is a beautiful property, large and spacious with a great view. The large living room and the two bedrooms, all face the mountain view that gets lit up in the evenings giving the mount a warm red glow. The large Balcony has lots of greens and flowering plants that have an automated watering system. The very first look of the interiors presents a very aesthetic appearance as one starts living here, one sees that every piece of furniture, upholstery, kitchen tools are done very tastefully and are great quality. A silver tea service was a delight though we just admired it and never used it. We, three adults, stayed here for a total of ten days. Towards the end of our one month travel in Europe, we wanted a spacious property to part unwind. This huge property served our need very well.
  Though we never really cooked, we found the kitchen to be very well equipped.
  LOCATION – we knowingly chose to stay away from the city center, but we were a little wary of transport. It was no problem , taxi was normally easy to access and very affordable. A number of cafes, two bistros, two superstores, a first rate bakery that opens at 5.00 am in the morning, all within 5 minutes walking distance made our stay very convenient.
  Both check-in and check-out were perfect. Would be happy to stay here again, should we come to Athens again.

  What could be improved: Well, I would have liked the dishwasher to be working. But it is just a small inconvenience. We were fortunate to have stumbled on this excellent property.
