Mornings here are fantastic – you’ll wake up to the sounds of locals heading to work, the occasional motorbike (which sounds more charming than annoying, I promise), and this amazing coffee smell drifting up from the street-level cafés. The 4-star rating feels right; it’s not trying to be some marble palace, but everything works properly and feels thoughtfully done. My room had this great little balcony where I could actually see a slice of the Acropolis between the buildings – not a full panorama, mind you, but enough to make you smile with your morning coffee.

What really sells this place is the location intelligence, if that makes sense. You’re positioned perfectly for the kind of Athens experience where you can hit the major sites without feeling like you’re just ticking boxes. The Acropolis itself is maybe a 10-minute walk (uphill, fair warning), but more importantly, you’re in walking distance of about six different routes up there, so you can avoid the cruise ship crowds if you time it right. The neighborhood has these tiny tavernas that locals actually eat at – I’m talking about the kind of places where the menu isn’t translated perfectly and the owner’s mom is probably in the kitchen. There’s this one spot around the corner where the grilled octopus is honestly better than what I had on the islands. The metro station is close enough that you don’t need taxis everywhere, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant train rumble. And here’s something nobody mentions – parking is actually manageable in this area if you’re brave enough to drive in Athens. I mean, it’s still Athens parking, but it’s not impossible like it is closer to Plaka. The 9.1 rating doesn’t surprise me at all; this is the kind of place where small details work in your favor, and you end up recommending it to people months later when they ask about Athens accommodations.

  These are comfortable apartments within walking distance of many attractions, including the Acropolis. there were 5 of us, and we felt very comfortable, the staff was attentive, Aphrodite met us in the apartment and showed us everything, Anita answered all questions in the chat. I think this is the best place we could choose in Athens

  We loved staying in this apartment. It was very clean, spacious, a friendly host, and a much needed washing machine! The location was incredible! In 5 minutes or less you can walk to the heart of the plaka, the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis metro stop, and a grocery store. Our Acropolis tour met at the metro stop which made it so easy. The building felt very safe and secure and was quiet at night. The host was very prompt and friendly with responding to quest. Highly recommend!

  This apartment is perfectly located right next to the Acropolis and its museum. We had a great time staying here. It's quite spacious and has all the amenities anyone would need during a trip. The apartment was very clean. Additionally, the host, Annita, was extremely helpful and understanding. When I come back to Athens, I will undoubtedly stay here again!

  location was excellent, apt was clean and well provisioned. very good service.

  What could be improved: Older unit has some drawbacks. My elderly parents were not able to use the only bathtub/shower.
  One day the elevator did not work, so they had some difficulty getting up & down 2 flights of stairs. Fortunately it was working the next day.
  Second toilet closet was very small & had some spacial challenges.

  There was an assortment of beverages, snacks and
  basic continental breakfast items. Our reservation did not include breakfast so the above-mentioned items were a thoughtful touch.
  Aphodite met us at the apartment on our arrival and our departure to deal with keys and a rundown of pertinent information. She was very nice, welcoming and informative. The 2 bedroom apartment and living room gave our family of 4 more room and privacy than a hotel. The location is literally a minute from the Acropolis but remember to purchase tickets and/or hire a guide for ahead of time. Take a left out of the apartment bldg, walk to the end of the block and turn left and you will be on the street to the Acropolis, as well as eateries, coffee, ice cream, and shops. There are plenty more restaurants and shops as you wander up and down the adjacent streets. Tzireon St is a short walk to the busy street of Vasilissis, across which is National Garden and, after that the Parliament building. There you can watch the changing of the guard. Check for up to date info on the full ceremony held on Sunday's around 11:00.
  
  What could be improved: The street was a little lonesome returning to the apartment after dark but employ common sense as usual and try not to walk by yourself at night. We did not have any problems and no one approached us. It's a typical block of older buildings with at least one building being taken down so that new one can be built.
