You’ll also notice they’ve got blackout curtains that actually work – something you don’t fully appreciate until you’re trying to sleep off jet lag at 2 PM.

The neighborhood itself has this perfect balance where you’re close enough to everything that matters but tucked away from the chaos. Parking can be a bit tricky (welcome to Athens), but they’ve got arrangements with a nearby garage that won’t break your budget. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and while mornings were beautifully quiet, the energy picks up nicely in the evenings without getting overwhelming. If you’re looking for a place that feels both polished and genuinely Greek – not the sanitized version – this is your spot.

  We had the most amazing experience staying at Athenian Suites! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk from Athens' main attractions and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and charming cafes. Whether you want to explore the rich history of the city or enjoy a vibrant meal nearby, everything is right at your doorstep.
  
  The hospitality we experienced was truly next-level. The hosts were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. On our last day, our flight was unexpectedly cancelled and rescheduled for midnight. When we explained the situation, the wonderful team at Athenian Suites offered to let us stay in our room until 9 PM — completely free of charge! This incredible act of generosity truly embodies Greek hospitality at its finest.

  The hotel we stayed at was very clean, spacious, and close to tourist attractions and public transportation. The owner was very kind and flexible with check-in and check-out times, making our arrival and departure very easy.

  Host evangelos was extremely attentive, provided lots of helpful information on how to access the property.,
  
  The location is perfect, major viewpoints are only a 20 minute walk away, the area is quiet at night but within a few minutes walk, there's plenty of choice for shops and restaurants.
  
  Close enough to the metro lines as well. We were close to central Athens but also piraeus via metro as well for our trips to the islands.

  Amazing place! It was clean, comfortable, the apartment had all the stuff you may need during your stay. It was very quiet!!! Which is perfect if you travel with children. The bed was also quite good, the mattress was not too soft. The place is near the city, the bus stop and supermarkets. Perfect place!
  
  What could be improved: The only thing that I can mention is that the apartment didn’t have the potty for children, so it would be “a nice to have thing” for families with young children 😊

  The Location is near to center city, 10 min walking. Very quiet neighborhood. Apartment has everything you need, Waschmaschine, Kaffeemaschine etc.
