Athenian Living Suites Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Athenian Living Suites on Navarchou Apostoli, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Athens. This four-star property sits in one of those perfect spots where you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually breathe. The building itself has that understated elegance that Greeks do so well — nothing flashy, just solid and welcoming.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Syntagma Square, but you’re tucked away on a quieter street that locals actually use. I mean, you’ll see people heading to work in the morning, not just tourists with selfie sticks. The nearby cafes serve proper Greek coffee, and there’s this little bakery around the corner that opens ridiculously early if you’re the type who likes to grab a tiropita before exploring. You know what’s really convenient? The metro station is close enough that you can easily reach Piraeus or the airport without the hassle of navigating Athens traffic.
The Suite Experience
The suites here actually live up to their name — these aren’t just hotel rooms with a fancy title. Each apartment feels like a proper temporary home, complete with a functional kitchen that’s equipped well enough to make a decent meal (though honestly, with all the great tavernas nearby, you might not use it much). The living areas are spacious enough that couples can spread out a bit, which probably explains why this place gets such high marks from romantic travelers. The beds are genuinely comfortable, and the bathrooms — well, they’re modern and clean, which is sometimes more than you can say for some places in this price range.
Daily Life Here
What struck me most was how the staff treats you like a temporary resident rather than just another guest checking boxes on a tourist itinerary. They’ll give you actual neighborhood recommendations, not just the obvious stuff you can find in any guidebook. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and there’s something refreshing about having space to hang your clothes properly and maybe do a bit of laundry if you’re staying for more than a few days. The building stays quiet at night — important when you’re trying to recover from all that walking around ancient ruins.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Athens can be overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time. What makes this place work is that it gives you a genuine base to operate from rather than just a place to crash. You’re close enough to walk to the Acropolis when you feel like it, but you’re also positioned to explore neighborhoods like Kolonaki or Exarchia without feeling like you’re commuting. The combination of space, location, and that slightly residential feel creates something that’s particularly appealing for couples who want to experience Athens at their own pace. Plus, with a 9 out of 10 rating, it’s clear that most people leave here pretty satisfied with their choice.

This apartment is located in a very busy alleyway with tons of lovely bars, restaurants, and cafes directly below, but the apartment is surprisingly effective at blocking out the noise. If you close the door to the bedroom, you cannot hear the beat of the music at all. Very impressive! This means that you have the best of both worlds if you are a traveler who likes to visit busy and vibrant streets, but is also a light sleeper. There is a small convenience store right outside where you can purchase some basic supplies if needed.
The facilities were very clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was a bit hard for my partner, but I liked it as it was good for sleeping on my back. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and the air conditioning/heating worked well. The kitchen had all the basic tools for cooking (pots, pans) and the owner was kind enough to leave coffee/sugar for us, as well as a bottle of water. These kinds of personal touches make the stay very welcoming.
Overall, I really liked this choice and don't regret it. Other than a few small issues we had a great time at this apartment. Thank you!Patricia from United States of America (9/10)

Location is perfect!
The apartment is very nice decorated.
Easy check in and checkout.Tom from United Kingdom (8/10)
Simple and easy, clear instructions sent before arrival. No having to walk long distances to lock boxes etc (as can happen), just a code to the main door and a further one to the apartment (but could be fully locked).

We only stayed here overnight on a layover, but we wished we stayed longer after staying here!
It's located perfectly within a lively area of Monastiraki, and the room itself is modern and well-appointed. Great air-conditioning, huge TV, good shower pressure, a mini kitchen, and a living area. All had ample lighting, and the bedroom is located far from the street, meaning little noise when we slept. Wifi was likewise adequate at an average of ~25mbps down and ~10mbps up.Anna from United Kingdom (9/10)
Location was amazing beautiful area to stay and in the cemtre of all thw action. Great bars restaurants and shopping around. Also loved the decor of the apartment, very stylish!
