You know what caught me off guard about Athens Hill Suite? I was expecting just another decent four-star place, but this spot actually feels like someone put real thought into making guests comfortable. The moment you walk in, there’s this calming vibe that’s hard to pin down – maybe it’s the way they’ve arranged the lighting, or how the lobby doesn’t feel like a sterile hotel space but more like a well-designed apartment entrance.

The suites themselves are honestly impressive. I mean, when places say “suite,” you never know if you’re getting a glorified room with a small sitting area, but here you actually get proper separation between spaces. The bedroom feels private, the living area has this nice flow to it, and – this might sound silly – but the bathroom layout actually makes sense. You’re not bumping into doors or squeezing around fixtures. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either; they’ve got decent appliances and enough counter space to actually use them. I ended up making coffee there every morning instead of going out, which says something because I’m usually all about exploring local cafés.

What really won me over though was how the staff handles things. Check-in was smooth without feeling rushed, and when I mentioned I was trying to figure out the best walking route to some of the main sites, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic map – he actually drew out a route that avoided the worst tourist crowds and pointed out a couple spots where I could grab good food along the way. That 9.2 rating makes sense when you experience little touches like that. The location works well too; you’re not right in the chaos of the most touristy areas, but you’re definitely not stranded somewhere inconvenient either. I could walk to plenty of places, and when I needed to venture further out, getting a taxi or using public transport was straightforward. The neighborhood has this nice residential feel in the evenings – quiet enough to actually sleep well, but not so quiet that you feel disconnected from the city. Honestly, I’d stay here again, and I’m usually the type who likes to try different places each trip.

  The apartment was very spacious, perfect for 5 people to fit in just fine. The area was also close to the historical monuments, we managed to travel on foot to every destination. Restaurants were near by and affordable, with very good food, needless to say supermarkets were 10 minutes away from the apartment. It was equipped with new and functional utilities, the parking lot was free. One thing which I have to mention is that the rooftop was incredible, without a doubt, you could sun bath, eat, spend time with your family there. Lastly, the one thing which I adored was that the neighbourhood was extremely quiet, 0 noise.

  We stayed on the 4th floor, which had two private balconies. On the 5th floor, you were able to access the shared roof terrace, stunning views during the day and night!
  We stayed for 10days and during our stay, we got sent a cleaner lady who changed our bedsheets and cleaned up around the apartment.
  There are plenty of hangers and storage in the bedrooms. We were able to do our laundry, plenty of drying space outside.

  The host and the property are amazing! The host was super quick to respond to my questions before and after our arrival. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our family. The location is fairly close (30-35 min walk) to the Acropolis and Plaka. We walked it a couple of days, the rest of our stay we took Uber (8-10 EURO) per trip. There is street parking but not super easy to find. We parked at a municipal parking about 5 min walk away.

  It felt like home. Were a family of six. I have stayed many places and this ranks as one of the best. Comfortable and clean and nice hot water for showering. They even had the entertainment set up, which was nice when we had a stormy day. Great view from the top and quiet inside.

  The apartment had everything you need. It is spacious with a very large outdoor area for relaxing and enjoying the fantastic views. The are great restaurants that are cheap very close by and is walking distance to everywhere. The owner/ manager is very responsive and informative about any queries or recommendations also!

  Tolle Ausstattung und Größe, super nette Dachterasse, Balkons auch toll, sehr nettes Viertel mit tollen local Restaurants. Gleichzeitige ist man aber auch in 20min zu Fuß an der Acropolis/Innenstadt

  Ruim appartement. Goede bedden en lekkere douche. Communicatie met Konstantinos ging heel goed, kregen altijd snel reactie.
  Fijn groot dakterras en ook bij het appartement een lekker balkon. De ligging is prima, een bakker om de hoek en ook een supermarkt op 5 min. loopafstand. Restaurants ook volop op loopafstand. Het is leuk om via de Lofos Filopappou naar de Akropolis te lopen (ongeveer 35 min).
