Here’s the thing about staying here – the staff genuinely seems to know the city beyond just the obvious tourist spots. When I asked about finding a good place for coffee that wasn’t overrun with tour groups, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic list. He actually sketched out a little route through Kolonaki and mentioned which cafes the locals hit versus the ones that are just Instagram-friendly. That’s the kind of insider knowledge that makes a difference when you’re trying to experience Athens like you live there, not just passing through. The breakfast setup is worth mentioning too – it’s not a massive buffet, but everything they do have is actually good quality. Fresh fruit, proper Greek yogurt, decent coffee. Sometimes less really is more. Honestly, with a 9.4 rating, I went in with pretty high expectations, and it delivered without feeling like it was trying too hard. It’s the kind of place where you can imagine both business travelers and couples on a city break feeling equally comfortable, which isn’t easy to pull off.
