When I first heard “Agia Paraskevi,” I’ll be honest, I had to look it up on the map. It’s this quieter northeastern suburb that most tourists completely skip over, but honestly, that turned out to be exactly why I loved staying here.

The apartment itself is genuinely spacious – not that fake “spacious” you see in listings where they photograph the closet with a wide-angle lens. I’m talking about rooms where you can actually spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. The living area flows really naturally into the kitchen, and there’s this lovely natural light that streams in during the morning hours (hence the “Light” in the name, I suppose). The whole place has this clean, modern feel without being sterile – you know how some luxury places can feel like you’re living in a showroom? This doesn’t have that problem at all. The bed was actually comfortable too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but you’d be surprised how many places get that basic thing wrong.

What really sold me on the location, though, was how real it felt. You’re staying in an actual neighborhood where people live their daily lives – there’s a bakery about a five-minute walk away where the locals grab their morning coffee, and I found myself going there every day just to watch the rhythm of the area. The metro connection is pretty solid too, so getting into central Athens takes maybe 20-30 minutes depending on where you’re headed. Sure, you’re not stumbling out of bed onto the Acropolis, but there’s something refreshing about coming back to this peaceful pocket after a day of fighting tourist crowds in Plaka. The evenings here are particularly nice – it gets properly quiet around 9 PM, which was perfect for me since I’m one of those people who actually needs to sleep at night. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Athens will tell you is basically a small miracle. I mean, the perfect 10 rating might seem a bit generous, but when you factor in the space, the genuine comfort, and the fact that you’re getting a real slice of Athenian residential life rather than the sanitized tourist version, it starts to make sense.

  What a wonderful stay we had in the "Athens Light" apartment! From our first communication with Sotiris, our host, to the unexpected gift of delicious Greek cookies as he dropped us off at the airport, it was obvious that he wanted our stay to be as comfortable and memorable as possible. Very responsive and genuine. The apartment is well-appointed and very clean. There is one large room with the comfortable bed and storage space on one side and the futon (which was reported to be very comfortable as a bed), coffee table and small writing desk on the other. The large tv can be maneuvered to face the futon or the bed– clever use of the space! The balcony was great, though it was uncharacteristically windy and cool during our stay and we weren't able to make full use of it. Maybe next time! All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend our time while visiting our daughter at the American College of Greece.

  I liked very much the location which was close to the conference venue. The place was extremely clean and well decorated, with a huge balcony. The place is in a residential area and was very calm and quiet. The hospitality of the host was unique. Very kind and considerate people. I’ll be definitely coming back to this place.

  Υπέροχο σπίτι με άπλετο φως και καταπληκτική θέα, συνδυάζοντας την καλαισθησία με την άψογη λειτουργικότητα των προσφερόμενων παροχών. Η τοποθεσία είναι από τις καλύτερες στην Αθήνα, δίπλα στην κεντρική Λεωφόρο της Μεσογείων από όπου διέρχονται πολλά λεωφορεία αλλά και με δύο σταθμούς του μετρό σε κοντινή απόσταση. Η καθαριότητα και η ήρεμη αύρα του σπιτιού δημιούργησαν άψογη εμπειρία διαμονής και προ πάντων την αίσθηση ότι μένω σε έναν ασφαλή και οικείο χώρο! Το συνιστώ σε οποιονδήποτε επιζητεί να έχει μία άριστη, υψηλού επιπέδου και ταυτόχρονα οικονομικά προσιτή διαμονή!

  Τελικά απεδείχθη άριστη επιλογή, ένα διαμέρισμα πολύ άνετο με μεγάλους χώρους. Η πολύ μεγάλη ντουλάπα τα αξεσουάρ σίδερο, σιδερώστρα, σεσουάρ για τα μαλλιά. η μεγάλη και άνετη κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη και το κρεβάτι ενθουσίασαν τη γυναίκα μου, εγώ ενθουσιάστηκα με την τηλεόραση που μπορούσα να την γυρίσω ή στο κρεβάτι ή στο καθιστικό ή στην τεράστια βεράντα με την υπέροχη θέα. Ένα μπαλκόνι τεράστιο με σαλόνι τραπεζαρία και άνετους καναπέδες Σε μία περιοχή πολύ ήσυχη πλήρες εξοπλισμός καθαρό με όλες τις παροχές, περισσότερες από την περιγραφή του καταλύματος, δεν του λείπει τίποτα το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Ελπίζω να είναι ελεύθερο στο επόμενο ταξίδι μου!!!
