The lobby has these beautiful reclaimed wood elements and living walls that aren’t just for show – you can tell they’ve put real thought into making sustainability feel luxurious rather than sacrificial.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to blend the eco-friendly aspects with genuine comfort. The suites themselves are spacious (I mean genuinely spacious, not just “European spacious”), and honestly, the air quality feels noticeably better than most Athens hotels – probably thanks to all those plants and their filtration systems. The kitchenettes are actually functional too, which is rare at this level. I ended up cooking breakfast a few times because the local produce they stock is incredible, and let’s face it, sometimes you just want coffee exactly how you like it. The bedding is this incredibly soft organic cotton that doesn’t feel rough or scratchy like some eco-textiles can. Small thing, but the shower pressure is fantastic – something I definitely don’t take for granted anymore after too many disappointing hotel experiences.

The location is pretty smart too. You’re not right in the thick of the tourist chaos, but you’re close enough that a quick metro ride or even a pleasant walk gets you to the major sites. I actually preferred being slightly removed from all that – Athens can get pretty intense during peak hours, and it was nice having this quieter base to retreat to. The staff really knows their stuff about the neighborhood, too. They pointed me toward this fantastic little taverna that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me the real scoop on which archaeological sites are worth the crowds and which ones you can skip. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not flashy or over-the-top, but everything just… works. And works well. The kind of place where you don’t realize how thoughtfully designed it is until you’re trying to recreate that level of comfort somewhere else.
