The area gets lively in the evenings but settles down by around 11, so you get the energy without the all-night noise. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street parking requires some patience and maybe a few practice attempts at parallel parking), but most people won’t need a car anyway. The metro connections are solid, and I actually enjoyed the walks to nearby restaurants and cafes. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward waiting around or confusion about keys, just quick and efficient so you can get on with your day. If I’m being completely honest, the only minor thing was that the shower pressure could be a touch stronger, but that’s pretty typical for older European buildings and really not a deal-breaker when everything else works so well.

  The property was centrally located, so easy to walk to various sites of interest and public transport. The apartment had everything we needed. Loved the little balcony. Also loved that the host had left tea and coffee and some water when we arrived.
