You know what honestly surprised me about Athens Terrace 360°? It’s one of those places where the name actually delivers on its promise – and I mean that literally. When I first walked up to this 4-star spot, I was expecting maybe a decent view from the rooftop bar, but the panoramic vistas you get from this place are genuinely breathtaking. You can see the Acropolis, obviously, but also catch glimpses of the Saronic Gulf on clear days, which – let me tell you – makes your morning coffee taste about ten times better.

The thing is, Athens has this way of surprising you with hidden gems tucked into neighborhoods you’d never think to explore, and this hotel sits in one of those spots where you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually hear yourself think. I stayed here during shoulder season (late October, if you’re curious), and honestly, the staff treated the place like it was their own home. The front desk guy – I think his name was Dimitri – knew every single guest by name within a day, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out whether that little taverna around the corner is worth the walk (it is, by the way).

What really got me was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Greek hospitality without feeling stuffy or overly formal. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing revolutionary, but you know what? Sometimes you just want a place where the air conditioning actually works, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and you can open the windows without worrying about street noise all night. The terrace areas (there are several, not just one massive rooftop) each have their own personality. The one facing east is perfect for sunrise if you’re an early riser, while the main terrace comes alive in the evenings when other guests gather for drinks and you end up in those spontaneous conversations that make travel memorable.

I’ll be honest – parking can be a bit tricky if you’re renting a car, but most people don’t need one anyway since you’re within walking distance of metro stations and the neighborhoods worth exploring. The 9.5 rating this place has earned makes perfect sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Athens, but it nails the things that actually matter: genuine service, spectacular views, and that rare quality where a place feels both professional and personal at the same time. Plus, the breakfast spread includes proper Greek yogurt with local honey, which sounds basic but trust me – after a few days of hotel breakfast disappointments elsewhere, you’ll appreciate the real deal.

  This is a lovely spacious apartment, Room enough for my family. Nice big balcony. Kitchen seemed well stocked but we ate out all the time so didn't use the facilities. Great to have a washing machine in apartment. Good central location, with many good restaurants around. Eleni was a great host and very attentive, thanks Eleni.
  
  What could be improved: I thought there was en suite rooms but the showers and bathrooms were next to the rooms in a corridor. Did not see the roof top view advertised because the steps up to the roof seemed precarious.

  Very nice large balcony with acropolis view. The property is right in the centre, just steps away Psiri and Monastiraki. Although very central, it is in a quiet street. Eleni was very helpful to make the stay very comfortable!
  
  What could be improved: A separation of the living room and the sleeping area would be nice. Especially for stay with small children.

  Great, cosy and spacious apartment with a very well organised service. Overwhelming view from a terrace. Located very conveniently for sightseeing and eating! It was a very good choice!

  I stayed in the apt with 3 bedrooms on the 5th floor with the family (6 ppl). An excellent location. Excellent place. Excellent property. Highly recommended however may be a bit pricey for some. Clean, spacious, huge terrace, relatively quiet, plenty of places to hang out within 5-10 min reach. 5 min from the metro station. A very caring host (thank you Eleni for making our stay great!) Simply recommended.
  
  What could be improved: Bathrooms are a bit tricky with regards to privacy. Travelling with a family not a big deal however there is a ‘bathroom area’ that has an entrance from 2 of 3 bedrooms and a living room. It consists of a separate washbasin in a corridor, a separate very small full bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet with sliding doors and separate shower which do offer much privacy. Not a problem if you do not need a lot of privacy but with a large group of friends may be inconvenient. Also the bedroom with two separate beds – it’s good for kids but the beds not very comfy. However the place is great and I’d definitely stay again.
