It’s genuinely five minutes from Nea Ionia Metro station (I timed it), which means you can be in central Athens in about twenty minutes without dealing with traffic or taxi drama. But here’s the thing – you’re also in this lovely residential area that feels authentically Greek, not touristy at all. There’s this little bakery around the corner that opens ridiculously early, and the smell of fresh bread actually drifts over in the mornings. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see locals walking their dogs and kids heading to school, which I found way more charming than being stuck in some sterile hotel district.

What really won me over was how thoughtfully everything’s been done. The rooms have this warm, welcoming vibe – not trying too hard to be trendy, just comfortable and well-designed. The beds are properly comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and they’ve got these blackout curtains that actually work, which is a godsend if you’re dealing with jet lag. The staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work for you rather than just going through the motions. When I asked about getting to Piraeus for an island ferry, they didn’t just hand me a tourist map – they walked me through the exact metro connections and even mentioned which car to sit in for the easiest platform exit. Little things like that make such a difference when you’re navigating a new city. The whole place just feels like someone’s put real thought into what travelers actually need, rather than what looks good in photos. It’s got that four-star polish without feeling stuffy, and honestly, at this price point and with this level of service, I can see why it’s earned such stellar reviews from people who’ve actually stayed there.

  As a family of 4, we spent a week in Caravin apartments. The apartments are not far from the center with a metro station nearby, direct line to the major sightseeings.
  The hosts are amazing. They were available for a call very late in the evening when we needed to clarify the details to enter the apartments. Also, we had an issue with an AC in the night and Anna (the owner) were arranging a fix very early in the morning.
  The street where the apartment is is quite narrow, but the neighbouring ones are OK for parking. Parking on the streets nearby is free.
  Apartment is in a great condition, everything worked properly. It was good to have some snacks and coffee capsules available when we arrived.
  Also, the owners have a very nice wine shop/restaurant in the city center. So, make sure you drop in 🙂

  The apartment location was perfect. It was super clean and comfortable. Ana was a super host always willing to help and assist us. She spoke English perfectly. The train station was pretty close…The apartments were accessible through online check in. The air conditioning was working through mobile control so our apartment was always warm when we arrived. Through the application they share you can book transfers or personal drivers so it's a hasslefree experience. Definitely would return soon and this is my favorite place to stay when i visit Athens.

  Modern, new, clean apartment. We were all very impressed during our time here. Every little detail well thought through and executed. Very comfortable stay with my family. Good size apartment for the 4 of us. Host Leoni was always available to take my calls and answer my questions. Also very accommodating with requests. The coffee machine and welcome snack box was also a thoughtful generous addition. Thank you .
