The walk to the Acropolis is maybe ten minutes uphill – and yes, everything in Plaka involves some sort of hill situation, so pack accordingly. But honestly, there’s something magical about stepping out your door and being immediately surrounded by these narrow alleys lined with bougainvillea and family-run tavernas where the owners actually remember your name after two visits. The staff here gets it too – they’re not just pointing you toward the obvious tourist traps but sharing those little local spots, like which bakery opens earliest for fresh spanakopita or where to catch the best sunset views without fighting through Instagram crowds. Check-in was refreshingly smooth, and they actually helped arrange a late checkout when my flight got delayed, which saved me from dragging luggage around the city for hours.   Great location, clean home, perfect for family with 2 young kids. It was right next to a small piazza where on a Fri evening a cover band was belting RHCP songs, you could enjoy it from the apartment itself.
  Everything was walking distance – the museum (5 min walk), Acropolis (5 min walk), restaurants at the Placa (just downstairs), the Agoras — all a 10-15 min walk. The host was wonderful, we met her and shared some common experiences. The sofa cum bed was great for kids.

  The location was perfect. Right in the heart of Plaka, one street away from the action. Steps from everything, yet quiet to relax. The elevator is a huge bonus when you have luggage. There’s a coffee shop steps from the door which is super convenient. Also there is a pharmacy next door which is also nice.

  The apartment itself was spotless and exuded a sense of coziness and comfort. It was equipped with all the amenities one could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. The fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding, and fair bathroom facilities.
