I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Classy and stylish apartment next to Hilton, I thought it was going to be one of those trying-too-hard places that promises the world and delivers a cramped studio with IKEA furniture. But you know what? I was pleasantly surprised when I actually stayed there last month.

The location is genuinely fantastic – and I mean right next to the Hilton, like you can practically see into their lobby from some of the windows. What’s great about this is you get all the benefits of being in that prime area (easy access to everything, decent restaurants within walking distance, reliable transportation links) without paying Hilton prices. The apartment itself has this modern, minimalist vibe that actually works – clean lines, good lighting, and thankfully none of that fake luxury nonsense you see everywhere. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights and don’t want to eat out constantly. I actually cooked breakfast there a few times and didn’t feel like I was working in a dollhouse kitchen.

Now, it’s got a 7.6 rating and honestly, that feels about right – it’s solid without being spectacular. The Wi-Fi is reliable (tested it extensively while working from the living room), the bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back, and the shower has decent water pressure. Small things, but they matter when you’re actually living somewhere temporarily. The building itself is quiet, which surprised me given how close it is to all the action. I was expecting street noise or construction sounds, but the windows must be decent quality because I slept fine. One minor thing – the check-in process was a bit confusing since it’s not a traditional hotel setup, more like dealing with a property management company, so give yourself extra time when you arrive. The cleaning was thorough though, and I appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with artificial air fresheners like some places do.

What really sold me on this place is that it feels like staying in someone’s actual apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. There are books on the shelves, decent coffee in the kitchen, and the whole space has personality without being cluttered. It’s the kind of place where you can spread out your stuff and feel settled, especially if you’re in town for work or a longer visit. For a 4-star rating, it delivers what it promises – nothing groundbreaking, but comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced for what you get. I’d definitely consider staying there again, particularly because finding good apartments in that area that don’t cost a fortune is actually harder than you’d think.

Hotel in Athens booking should be done early, especially during summer festival season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and theatrical performances.
