Ederlezi Zoubourlou Aparthotel Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Ederlezi Zoubourlou Aparthotel, I had absolutely no idea how to pronounce it, but after staying there, I can tell you it’s one of those places that sticks with you. The name actually has this lovely melodic quality once you get used to it, and the staff there are super patient about helping you with the pronunciation (trust me, I needed the help).

What really struck me about this place is how it manages to feel both polished and genuinely welcoming at the same time. You know those hotels where everything looks perfect in photos but feels a bit sterile in person? This isn’t one of those. The aparthotel setup is actually brilliant – you get proper apartment-style accommodations with kitchenettes and separate living areas, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than just a night or two. I mean, having your morning coffee in your own little space instead of rushing down to a crowded breakfast room? That’s the kind of thing that turns a good trip into a great one. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either – they’re properly equipped, and there’s a decent-sized fridge that actually keeps things cold (you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong).

The attention to detail here is what really sets it apart, though. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work – towels are always perfectly folded, and they’ve got this way of arranging your belongings that’s thoughtful without being intrusive. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (I tested it extensively while working from the lobby one rainy afternoon), and the water pressure in the showers is honestly better than what I have at home. What I particularly appreciated was how quiet the place stays, even when it’s busy. The walls must be properly insulated because I rarely heard noise from neighboring rooms, which is pretty remarkable for an aparthotel setup. Check-in was refreshingly smooth too – no endless forms or upselling, just friendly efficiency. The location works really well for getting around, though you’ll want to ask the front desk about the best walking routes since some of the nearby streets can be a bit tricky to navigate if you’re not familiar with the area. That 8.7 rating? Yeah, I can see why guests keep rating it so highly – it’s one of those places that just gets the fundamentals right while adding those little touches that make you feel like they actually care about your stay.

  • Ciara from Ireland (9/10)

I would highly recommend this aparthotel to everyone. I was arriving after hours and received excellent instructions about how to access the room. The room was very clean and modern interior. I was travelling alone so safety and security was important to me. The room had excellent security and I felt extremely safe staying here. The location was perfect, walking distance to most attractions. Most evenings I ate at the restaurant downstairs and took in the square, the music and greek people . The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Taxi to and from the airport was organised for me aswell. Outstanding service.

  • Chelsea from United States of America (9/10)

The hotel is located in a lively square where musicians play at night. The room was beautiful and clean. I also loved the bottle of wine welcome gift. Very nice touch!

  • Iwona from Spain (9/10)

Extremely central location in Psirri, neighbourhood, walking distance to all the main attractions of Athens. The room was comfortable and very clean and the owner very attentive and responsive. We got a bottle of white wine as a welcome gift which is a very nice gesture. Self check in makes it very easy to arrive at any time.

  • Lindsaylove from United Kingdom (9/10)

Looks like recently renovated, was in a super central location but was nice and quiet, very tasteful decor

  • Paula from Australia (9/10)

Great location – very friendly and welcoming hosts. Very comfortable space with everything we needed. Although the square was very much alive until 1am, the soundproofing worked a treat. The Cafe downstairs serves really delicious breakfasts that are very reasonably priced.

  • Sunny from United States of America (9/10)

I absolutely adore the location and design, the balcony above the square is brilliant, I felt like I was floating above the activity of the city, delightful. Mostly modern and updated and well working amenities as well.

Excellent location! Quiet, but right in the action. Central to all restaurants and attractions. Would stay again!
