You know what really struck me about Elaia Luxury Residences? It’s one of those places that somehow manages to feel both sophisticated and completely unpretentious at the same time. I mean, the moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how people move through a space – not just how it would photograph for Instagram.

The residences themselves are honestly impressive without being showy about it. I stayed in one of their suites and the kitchen was actually functional (you’d be surprised how rare that is in hotel-style accommodations). The appliances weren’t just there for show, and there was proper counter space for more than just setting down a coffee cup. The living areas have this relaxed elegance thing going on – think quality fabrics and solid furniture that doesn’t make you nervous about sitting down. What I really appreciated was the attention to lighting; they’ve got these layers of ambient options that actually let you create the mood you want, whether you’re working on your laptop or just unwinding with a book.

The service here operates on a different level entirely – it’s that rare sweet spot where staff are genuinely helpful without being hovering or overly formal. During check-in, the front desk person actually took time to explain the neighborhood layout and mentioned a few local spots that weren’t in any guidebook I’d seen. And honestly, with a 9.5 rating, you’d expect things to run smoothly, but it’s the little stuff that really shows: housekeeping that doesn’t rearrange your personal items, concierge recommendations that feel tailored rather than scripted, and maintenance issues (not that I had any) that get handled before you even notice them. The whole place has this quiet efficiency that lets you just… exist there comfortably. I found myself actually looking forward to coming back each evening rather than just treating it as a place to crash. It’s the kind of spot where you could easily extend your stay by a few days and not feel like you’re missing out on the “real” experience of wherever you’re visiting – because this feels pretty real too.

  Rented house to be close to my daughters wedding venue in Varkiza. House was beautiful, luxury and perfect for the ocasion. Great location however not close to beach and very hilly so not really a walking environment.
  Lovely views, great balconies to socialise in. Pretty external yard to hang washing.

  Extremely spacious, impeccably clean, wonderful amenities, kind and helpful staff & housekeeper, well maintained building, accessible via WhatsApp and easy communication. Also, the view was absolutely incredible!
  
  What could be improved: It was on a steep hill which is obviously not in their control. Just good to note as you will need a car or taxi service to access this property.

  The big living room has plenty of space for huge group, the view from the residence are great, the fully equipped kitchen with plenty of cups, mugs, plates and utensil for any large group to cook . The Pool and jacuzzi are a bonus despite we didn’t use it due to weather.
  
  What could be improved: The beds are comfortable, however the twin beds are a bit narrow . The location is farther away from the beach and the walk up and back are a bit challenge for our group of Seniors.

  What could be improved: Flat is located Too far from City centre and there was ongoing pool construction so we could use it at all at this time of the season. Flat was pretty but we were having issue with bugs and M osquitos
