Elegant Suite – Acropolis Overview
You know what struck me first about Elegant Suite – Acropolis? The moment I stepped inside, I could actually hear the quiet – and I mean that in the best possible way. In a city where motorbikes and construction noise seem to follow you everywhere, finding this kind of peaceful atmosphere was honestly surprising. The location puts you close enough to feel connected to Athens‘ energy without being right in the thick of the tourist chaos.
The suite itself lives up to its name, though I’ll admit I was skeptical at first (how many places call themselves “elegant” and actually deliver?). The space feels thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated – there’s this nice balance between modern comfort and subtle nods to Greek style that doesn’t feel forced or touristy. What really impressed me was the attention to details that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere: proper blackout curtains for those late Mediterranean sunsets, a bathroom with decent water pressure, and – this might sound small but it’s huge – enough electrical outlets placed where you’d actually want to use them. The bed situation is solid too, which honestly makes or breaks any stay for me.
Being a 4-star place with a 9.6 rating sounds almost too good to be true until you spend some time here. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, and I got the sense they actually listen to guest feedback instead of just going through the motions. What sets this place apart from other Athens accommodations I’ve tried is how it manages to feel both sophisticated and relaxed – you’re not walking on eggshells worried about disturbing some overly precious atmosphere, but you’re also not dealing with worn-out furniture or that vaguely sticky feeling some hotels have. The neighborhood itself has this lived-in quality where you’ll see actual Athenians going about their daily routines, not just tourist buses rolling through. There’s a great little bakery within walking distance that locals actually use (always a good sign), and you can reach the main archaeological sites without feeling like you need to plan a major expedition. If you’re someone who wants easy access to Athens’ highlights but also values having a genuinely comfortable retreat to come back to, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Reviews of Elegant Suite – Acropolis
Nelline from United States – 23 October 2024 (9/10)
Location was fantastic. This is a very safe, upscale, quiet neighborhood, directly across from a historic park. It’s a great location just a short walk from the nice restaurants and shops. And very close to the Acropolis.
What could be improved: The place was smaller than we had imagined, based on the photos. The access around the bed to the closet was quite narrow, but wide enough to wheel my luggage. Overall the place is quite lovely and I’m glad we selected it for our stay in Athens.Ainhoa from Switzerland – 30 August 2024 (10/10)
Beautiful apartment, excellent location, everything you need. Fluid communication and extremely accommodating, customer care was top. Thank you!
Lisa from United Kingdom – 8 August 2024 (10/10)
A little slice of tranquility right in the city!
What could be improved: The hills are a killer!Hayley from South Africa – 16 June 2024 (10/10)
The location was excellent – we loved having the open area and hillside across the road to walk/run in, a lovely residential suburb, convenient supermarkets, quirky shops and fantastic restaurants a few blocks down the hill. Wonderful to walk up the hill and see the view of the Acropolis at sunrise and lit up at night.
The apartment itself was absolutely perfect with everything we needed, very clean, comfortable and well apportioned. The host very kindly arranged for an early check-in which we were very appreciative of, and was always on hand to answer any queries we had. Communication was excellent. I highly recommend this apartment if you want to spend a few days exploring Athens but also like to escape from the busy, noisy, touristy area’s to your own peaceful space.
What could be improved: There was NOTHING we didn’t like about the location because we enjoy space, quiet, less touristy, experiencing local and walking.
The apartment itself was very well decorated and equipped, with nice to have features like washing machine/ ironing board & iron/ dish washer / safety box /hair dryer and toiletries.Wai from Hong Kong – 12 April 2024 (10/10)
We loved this place so much, we came back for the second time after a short trip away from Athens.
It’s situated in a quaint, tasteful neighbourhood called Koukaki which still has locals who live in it. There’s a street market on the Friday that we were there.
Wine bars, lots of good restaurants near Dragou (street). And it’s just a stone’s throw away from the Western (main) entrance of the Acropolis.
Apartment was great, new, and the host was great. The trailhead of Philoppapou Hill was just 50m away. Perfect for sunrise/sunsets.
If you like to stay somewhere that’s close enough to the Acropolis but away from the crowds of tourists, then this is for you.Monica from United States – 1 April 2024 (10/10)
Cute, quiet and cozy. At the base of Filopappos Hill where you can hike up to view the acropolis. Right across from the trails. Everything was as described. The location was only a 10 min walk, give or take, from the acropolis and provided a quiet night time setting. The accommodation provided all the basics needed for an enjoyable stay. A small elevator was very convenient when transporting luggage.
What could be improved: Shower in bathroom was not enclosed and would require a mop to clean up floor after showering.Matina from Greece – 27 February 2024 (10/10)
Comfort cozy modern apartment with a nice view
Katarzyna from Poland – 19 February 2024 (10/10)

Pleasant house and good location. It was cold in Athens when we visited Elegent suits and the apartment was very comfortable heated. We are a family of 3 with a toddler and a baby cot was provided. Communication between the owner and us was fast and efficient just like finding the location and access to the apartment.
Mor from Israel – 22 October 2023 (10/10)
The host was very communicative and helpful.
The location was great, very good neighborhood. In your visit make sure to take hikes in the hill infront of the apartment.
Thank you for having us!
What could be improved: Nothing I can think of.
