When I first walked in, I was actually surprised by how spacious it felt – you know how these city center places can be tiny and cramped, but this one has that airy, modern vibe that makes you forget you’re in the middle of one of Europe’s busiest neighborhoods.

The location is what really sold me though. I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from Syntagma Square, which sounds touristy until you realize how incredibly practical it is. You can walk to pretty much everything – the National Gardens when you need a break from the concrete, Ermou Street for shopping (though it gets insanely crowded on weekends), and honestly, the metro connections are right there so day trips to Piraeus or even the airport are dead simple. What I didn’t expect was how quiet it actually gets at night. Sure, there’s some street noise during the day, but by evening it settles down nicely. The building itself feels solid and well-maintained, which isn’t always a given in this part of town.

The apartment itself has this clean, minimalist thing going on that works really well – nothing fancy or Instagram-perfect, just thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. The kitchen is actually functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some Greek yogurt breakfasts), and the Wi-Fi was consistently fast, which saved me when I needed to catch up on work. I appreciated the little details too – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block the morning sun, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. The 9.1 rating makes total sense when you experience how smoothly everything just works. Check-in was straightforward, and when I had a question about nearby pharmacies, the response was quick and genuinely helpful. It’s the kind of place where you can tell someone actually cares about the guest experience without being overbearing about it. If you want to be in the heart of Athens without dealing with hotel crowds or touristy lobbies, this is your spot.

  Communication with the host was excellent. From the beginning—when they replied immediately after we requested a cot for our baby—until the end, when they brought us a replacement coffee maker overnight! The place is perfect for a couple, and even for those travelling with a baby, like we did. It is clean, spacious, with lots of storage and amenities, and overall comfortable, practical, and beautifully decorated. The host even prepared a folder with information about the area, which was very useful! The central location of the flat was also a big plus, especially if you need to come and go several times during the day.

  Loved my stay here! The host was very kind and responsive. The location is extremely ideal! Everything was clean and shampoo and body wash was provided. air conditioner worked great as well. building felt very secure with a locked gate. would stay again!

  The location is great : located between Syntagma and monastiraki squares, you're just a couple of minutes from them and all the spots which are close to them like the agora, Plaka etc without having to worry about transport.
  Apart from that, the apartment is new and very nice and comfortable.

  Service : hostess contacted me prior to arrival with information about location (including photos) and key code for lockbox. she agreed to my request for late checkout at 15:00 with no hassle. in dec, the high ceiling was challenging for the air-con to heat so she quickly provided me with a portable heater. both working together the temp in the apt was very comfortable. so thought to find complimentary bottles of water, umbrella, first aid kit, proper clothes hangers, seasoning for cooking. three set of towels, toilet rolls provided for 9 nights stay. easy to request for more trash bags and toiletries.
  
  Location : unbeatable, safe location. Taxi can drop you 10 steps away from building. 15mins walk to must-see athens and 5mins to 2 metros providing access to all three lines. lively with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, laundry, shops right on doorstep. lift access with clean, well-lit landings. As a single woman, i felt totally safe going out early and returning late.
  
  Facilities : efficiently designed apartment with fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering. generously sized bathroom with rain shower head. appreciate desk/work area being separate from dining table. lots of power outlets for charging devices. apt door with security bolts. wifi worked perfectly. copious hot water. comfortable bed (ideal if pillows were firmer). quiet and bright lighting in apt. being in city center and surrounded by other apartments, windows provide daylight but have no views (no issue for me)
  
  What could be improved: just understand that apt rental is not serviced so for longer stays expect to clean, remove trash on your own. trash bins on several nearby streets. book early as there was no availability after 9 nights for me
