I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Entire Apartment – Heart of Athens, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, how many places actually live up to that “heart of” claim, right? But walking up to this place for the first time, you immediately get why they went with that name. You’re literally surrounded by everything that makes Athens, well, Athens.

The apartment itself surprised me in the best way. It’s got this lived-in comfort that you just don’t find in typical hotel rooms – you know what I mean? The kind of space where you can actually spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping in someone else’s life. The 4-star rating makes sense when you see the attention to detail, though honestly, it feels more personal than most chain hotels I’ve stayed in. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re smack in the middle of everything. I was expecting typical city noise, but the windows do their job well. The 9.7 rating from other guests? Yeah, I can see that – people clearly appreciate having actual space to breathe.

But here’s what sold me on this place: the location is genuinely unbeatable. I’m talking about being able to walk to Monastiraki Flea Market in about five minutes, or wandering over to Plaka when you want that touristy-but-still-charming vibe. The metro connections are right there too, which saved me so much time getting around. You can hit Syntagma Square without breaking a sweat, and if you’re into the nightlife scene, Psyrri is basically next door. What I really loved though was stumbling onto these tiny local tavernas that you’d never find if you were staying out in some hotel district. There’s this one place – can’t remember the exact street – where locals actually eat, not just tourists taking Instagram photos. The owner doesn’t speak much English, but the food… well, that speaks for itself. You’ll find these gems just by stepping outside and wandering around, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually experience Athens instead of just checking boxes on a list. The only minor thing I’d mention is that groceries can be a bit tricky to find super close by, but there’s a decent market about a ten-minute walk away, and honestly, that just gives you another excuse to explore the neighborhood.

  Everything was perfect, the apartment is perfect. It's beautiful, safe and comfortable. It's location is wonderful. Filled with restaurants around, shops, and everything you'll need to feel no worries. The apartment is huge! Awesome bed, awesome TV's, awesome kitchen and bathroom. John is also a great host, he was always up for some questions about local food or transport. Even tho we never met (getting inside the apartment is automatic and really fast), it felt like he was always around to help us. I really recommend everyone to stay at this apartment, there is probably none like this in Athens. Also, if you are planning to visit the acropolis, you can't stay anywhere closer to it.

  Location is very good where is near to Acropolis and the host was very kind to us, even more the room was very clean, hot water and water pressure was just perfect.
  I am 200% sure that wanna stay more and the best accommodation ever in Greece.

  The property was in the ideal location, right in the heart of the tourist side of Athens. Perfect to walk everywhere and see all of the main sites.
  
  The bathroom was new and spotless, and the kitchen fully stocked if you want to cook your own.
  
  Even though it’s right above busy restaurants, it was not too noisy at night at all.

  The location is amazing! It’s next to the museum and the Acropolis metro station and very close to several restaurants, cafes, bars and gift shops

  Perfect location. Acropoli Metro station is less than 20m right in front of the building entrance. Eateries, mini mart are just below the apartment. While self service laundry, Acropolis South Slope entrance, Acropolis Museum & other shops are just a stone's throw away. John was super attentive & helpful. He even went great length in helping us with our issue (which was not related to our stay). The place was spotless hence we made sure to left it the same upon checking out😁. Highly recommended & we wont hesitate to stay here again.
