The walk to the Acropolis entrance takes maybe eight minutes, but here’s the thing nobody tells you – go early morning or late afternoon because that marble gets brutally hot in summer, and your feet will thank you.

What really surprised me was how thoughtfully set up the apartment is. The owner clearly understands what travelers actually need – proper shower pressure (seriously, this matters more than people admit), blackout curtains that actually block the morning sun, and a kitchen stocked with real coffee, not those instant packets you usually get. The Wi-Fi works everywhere, even on the little balcony where I’d sit with my laptop pretending to work while staring at ancient ruins. I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and the whole area had this perfect energy – busy enough to feel alive, but not so crowded that you’re fighting for space at every monument.
