The kitchen is properly equipped too – I mean, you can actually cook a real meal here, not just heat up coffee. And the 4-star rating feels right; it’s comfortable and well-maintained without being stuffy or overly formal.

Here’s what I really appreciate about this location though – you’re walking distance to both the ancient sites and the grittier, more authentic parts of central Athens. Omonia Square is right there (which gets busy and a bit chaotic, fair warning), but you’re also close enough to wander into Exarchia when you want that artsy, student neighborhood vibe. The metro connections are solid, so you’re not stuck in just one part of the city. Honestly, the 9.0 rating makes sense when you consider that you’re getting proper space, genuine Athens neighborhood living, and those views all in one package. It’s not trying to be a fancy hotel – it’s better than that, really. You feel like you’re actually staying in Athens, not just visiting it.

  It was cozy and there was always hot water. Moshe, the owner of the property was an excellent host. From the time I made the booking he was very helpful and anawered all our questions. He referred us to a very good private transfer provider who picked us up at the Pireaus port, took us to Meteora and to the airport.
