The whole Plaka and Ancient Agora area is walkable if you’re up for it, though honestly, after a day of sightseeing, coming back to Psyrri for dinner and drinks just makes more sense. The restaurant scene here has exploded recently, and you’re getting local prices instead of tourist markup. I’d definitely book this again – the 4-star rating feels right, and that 8.6 guest rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense. It’s just a solid place to stay in a neighborhood that gives you real Athens instead of the sanitized version.
