Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: the split-level layout is actually genius for couples or small groups because you get that separation without feeling cramped. The downstairs living area has these massive windows that let in incredible natural light – I’m talking the kind of golden hour lighting that makes your Instagram photos look professional without any filters. And the kitchen, well, it’s not huge but it’s properly equipped. I made coffee every morning and picked up fresh pastries from that little bakery on Adrianou Street (maybe a 3-minute walk), and it became this perfect little routine.

The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the Four Seasons, but everything works and the details are thoughtful. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has good pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in Athens. The air conditioning kept up even during those brutal July afternoons, and believe me, I tested it. What really impressed me was the Wi-Fi speed – I had to jump on some work calls and it never dropped or lagged, which has definitely not been my experience at every place I’ve stayed in the city.

The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’re there. It’s not perfect – the stairs to the upper level are a bit steep if you’re hauling heavy luggage, and the street entrance is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. But those are minor things compared to waking up with that view and being able to walk to pretty much everything you want to see in the historical center. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night because leaving felt premature. The whole experience just felt more authentic than staying in some massive hotel where you’re shuffled around with tour groups. You get that local apartment feeling while still having someone to call if something goes wrong – which, by the way, never happened.

  Communication with host was good we had a hot water issue and it was fixed straight away, the apartment is nice more of a modern apartment rather than luxury, it was clean, beds was comfortable, kitchen had everything needed, lovely large sun terrace, some DIY jobs unfinished, but did not affect our stay, location is good 10 min walk to acroplis 15 min to plaka however apartment is on a hill , very good value for money would stay again

  The location of the apartment was very close to top attractions like Acropolis or Plaka neighborhood. It was very nice and could fit comfortably a family of 5. It had a very big balcony with the view from Acropolis. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Also the host was very kind and helpful to us. Definitely would go there again.

  Super helpful staff. Very accommodating, extremely supportive with the different needs that we had. Very clean, super comfy, luxury apartment that is very comfortable for a big family. It has ustairs and downstairs with two toilets and showers.
  
  What could be improved: The location is not right in the Centre, but accessible either with 25 mins walk or a 5 mins taxi ride.

  We loved the property. It was beautiful and comfortable. All necessities were met. For a family of 6 we felt very comfortable and safe. Loved that it had an elevator to send up all the luggage we had to the 4th floor
