The metro station is close enough that getting to other parts of the city is actually easy, which surprised me since a lot of “centrally located” hotels in Athens are either touristy or poorly connected. Here’s the thing about that 9.4 rating — I get it. This isn’t the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises. The breakfast spread was better than expected (real Greek yogurt, not that processed stuff), and they have this small rooftop area where you can just sit and watch the sunset paint the ancient ruins. I ended up spending way more time there than I planned, just because it felt like having your own private viewing box for one of the world’s greatest shows.
