The space actually feels even bigger than those 105 square meters suggest – and trust me, I’ve stayed in plenty of European apartments where “spacious” is more wishful thinking than reality. When I first walked in, honestly, my immediate thought was “okay, this is what I call proper elbow room in a city where most places feel like glorified closets.”

The whole setup has this lived-in authenticity that you don’t always get with vacation rentals. I mean, it’s clearly been thoughtfully put together, but it doesn’t have that sterile “rental property” vibe where everything matches a little too perfectly. The kitchen actually has proper counter space – revolutionary concept, I know – and the kind of cookware that suggests someone who lives here actually uses it. There’s this great natural light that flows through in the afternoons, which honestly made me want to just sit there with coffee and people-watch from the windows. The neighborhood itself has that genuine Athens energy, you know? Not the touristy Plaka stuff (which is fine, but different), but more like where actual Athenians go about their daily lives. You’ll hear the rhythm of the city – some street noise, sure, but it’s the good kind that makes you feel connected to the place rather than isolated from it.

What really sold me on this spot was how it manages to feel both central and residential at the same time. I could walk to the kinds of tavernas where locals grab lunch, but I wasn’t constantly dodging tour groups on my doorstep. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward “meet me on this random corner with three bags” situation I’ve dealt with before. And look, at an 8.5 rating, you’re getting that sweet spot where it’s genuinely good but not so perfect that you’re paying premium prices for marble bathrooms you’ll barely notice. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to spend time during the day, not just crash after walking your feet off around the Acropolis. If you’re the type who likes space to spread out your stuff and maybe cook a proper meal instead of surviving on overpriced hotel breakfast, this place gets it right.

  Breakfast was not provided. The location was ok. The nearest underground train station, Omania was 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Apartment was on the 6th floor and felt safe.Bedrooms and beds were big. Air conditioning worked well.
  
  What could be improved: Two large towels and two small towels were provided. There were 3 adults in the apartment, so we could have done with at least 3 large towels and 3 small ones for a 7 day stay.
  No toaster was provided (there was a toasted sandwich maker)
  No instructions were given about what to do with the bins and about recycling (we suspect we were just supposed to leave them in the apartment).
  The lift to the apartment was very small.
  The staircase was not lit and we had to use the torch on our mobiles.

  The location of the apartment was quite convenient, as it was close to two metro stations, making it easy to get around the city. Additionally, the building itself was well-maintained and had a pleasant ambiance. The communication with the management company was also efficient and prompt, which was greatly appreciated.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay negatively. The apartment was situated too close to a district known for its drug problems, which made us feel uneasy at times. The beds had innerspring mattresses, and every time one person moved, it disturbed the other, leading to poor sleep quality. Although the air conditioning worked, it made a terrible noise that was quite disruptive. The terrace furniture was missing, which was disappointing as we had looked forward to spending time outside.
  
  Moreover, there were several maintenance issues that needed attention. The toilet seat was only partially repaired during our stay. The electrical outlets and switches were broken and potentially dangerous. The ceramic glass cooktop was cracked, and the pan provided did not fit properly on the stove. The light in the range hood did not work, and the vent led into the cabinet above, which was quite impractical. Additionally, the toilet brush was broken, and there were missing batteries in the remote control, although these were eventually provided.
  
  Overall, while there were some positive aspects of our stay, the numerous maintenance issues and the unsettling location made it less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope that these issues will be addressed promptly for future guests.

  Sehr große saubere und schöne Wohnung. Genau wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Sehr geräumig. In jedem Raum eine Klima Anlage. Badezimmer auch sehr groß. Einrichtung hat uns super gefallen. An der Wohnung gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Kann ich großen Gruppen nur empfehlen. Mega preiswert
  
  What could be improved: Der einzige Makel den man nennen könnte waren die fenster im badezimmer. Dort gab es nähmlich keine Klimaanlage. Beim Lüften durchs Fenster kamen teils leicht unangenehme Gerüche nach Kanal oder ähnlichem ins Bad. Diese Anmerkung ist jedoch meckern auf hohem Niveau.
  
  Darüberhinaus ein valider negativer Aspekt ist das Viertel in dem die Wohnung liegt. Dies ist eins der herab gekommensten und gefährlichsten Vierteln Athens. Wir haben zum Glück keine negativen Erfahrungen gemacht. Es waren viele Obdachlose dort und nachts sollte man sich nicht lange dort aufhalten, trotzdem hat es alles in einem gut für uns funktioniert.
  
  Das Apartment war Im 6. stock. Für uns jeden Tag ein Nices workout, jedoch bestimmt nicht für jeden etwas da es nur einen kleinen Aufzug für maximal 2 Personen gab. Der hat aber einwandfrei funktioniert.
