Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first heard the name MEDLUXE LUXURY APARTMENT – it sounds a bit over the top, doesn’t it? But after spending a few nights there, I get why they went bold with the branding. This 4-star place actually delivers on that luxury promise without the stuffy hotel vibe that sometimes comes with it.

What struck me right away was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between apartment-style comfort and hotel service. You know what I mean – you get the space and freedom of having your own place, but there’s still someone to call if the WiFi acts up or you need extra towels. The rating of 9.4 makes total sense once you’re actually there. I mean, the attention to detail is pretty impressive – from the way they’ve set up the lighting (warm, not harsh like so many places) to the fact that the coffee machine actually makes decent coffee. Small things, but they add up.

The apartment setup works really well if you’re staying more than just a night or two. There’s proper counter space in the kitchenette, which honestly saved me from eating overpriced room service every meal. The living area doesn’t feel cramped either – I could actually spread out my laptop and work comfortably, something that’s surprisingly rare in a lot of places. What I appreciated most was the soundproofing; you’re not lying there at 2 AM listening to every footstep in the hallway or conversation from next door. The beds are solid too – not too soft, not too firm, just right for actually getting decent sleep.

Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re arriving late since it’s more of a boutique operation than a big chain with 24/7 front desk coverage. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work – they remember your name, ask how things are going, that sort of thing. Parking was easier than I expected, which is always a relief when you’re navigating an unfamiliar area with luggage. One tiny critique – the shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but that’s really nitpicking at this point. Overall, MEDLUXE delivers on creating that “luxury apartment” experience without the pretentious attitude. It’s the kind of place where you actually feel settled in rather than just passing through.

Early hotels booking in Athens requires advance planning during peak tourist seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary archaeological sites and Mediterranean atmosphere.
