The noise level surprised me too; even though you’re in the city, it gets pretty quiet at night since you’re just off the main drag. I mean, you’ll hear some traffic during the day, but it’s not like you’re sleeping next to Omonia Square or anything. The whole area around Kallimarmaro has this almost park-like quality because of all the green space, and that 9.5 rating honestly makes sense when you factor in how the location lets you experience Athens like someone who actually lives there, not just someone checking monuments off a list.
