I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Muse Apartment by LobbySquare, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name had me thinking it might be one of those trendy-but-soulless places that look great in photos but feel cold in person. Well, I was completely wrong about that.

What struck me first was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between apartment-style comfort and actual hotel service. You know how most extended-stay places either feel like you’re crashing in someone’s spare room or they’re trying way too hard to be fancy? This place actually gets it right. The 4-star rating feels spot-on – it’s polished without being stuffy, and honestly, that 9.5 guest rating makes total sense once you’re there. The apartments themselves have this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake – I mean, the kitchens are actually functional (not just pretty), with proper counter space and appliances that don’t look like they came from a discount hotel supply catalog. The living areas feel genuine too, with seating you’d actually want to relax in after a long day rather than those hotel chairs that look nice but murder your back.

What really won me over, though, was the attention to details that frequent travelers actually care about. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously die when you need it most – I was on video calls without any drama. The soundproofing is surprisingly good; you’re not lying awake wondering if your neighbors are moving furniture at midnight. And here’s something I really appreciated: the check-in process doesn’t involve standing around a lobby for twenty minutes while they “prepare your room.” The LobbySquare management system they use is pretty seamless – sort of like having a concierge who’s always available but never hovering. The building itself has this quiet confidence about it, if that makes sense. It’s not trying to wow you with a massive marble lobby or gold everything, but there’s a thoughtfulness in how it’s all put together. The common areas feel like spaces people actually use rather than just Instagram backdrops. I spent some time working in one of their lounge areas, and it struck me how comfortable it felt – proper lighting, enough outlets, tables that are the right height for getting things done. Little stuff, but it adds up. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a really well-appointed temporary home than a traditional hotel room, this is your spot. It’s particularly great if you’re staying for more than just a night or two – you can actually settle in and feel human instead of living out of a suitcase.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Athens at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near ancient attractions.

  Excellent location in Koukaki, across the road from the Museum and a 10 min walk on flat streets to the Acropilis entrance. Newly renovated, great air con, very secure, lift access, sound proofed, beautifully equipped incl washing machine, air dryer, iron/ironing board. Area is very secure, plenty of shopping and eating outside the front door. We had a medical emergency and staff were very quick to respond with advice and assistance. We would definitely stay again in this area and at this accommodation.

  Beautiful apartment close to Plaka district and the Acropolis metro and Lobby Square. Very clean and quiet . Great communication with staff.

  If you’re comparing properties near Acropolis STOP! It’s unparalleled in every area. Great location footsteps from EVERYTHING! Restaurants and open air cafes surrounding property are amazing and reasonably priced. Took several melas at Gods Restaurant where the staff is welcoming, attentive and polite. Greek breakfast pies, slouvaki, gyros, coffee, gelato from sunrise to 11:30PM. Metro steps away from spacious 2 bedroom well appointed property.
  
  Host John was super responsive and even gracious… met me at property to accommodate dropping luggage early so I could start sightseeing. The property is beautifully decorated. Modern Scandinavian. All the amenities a kitchen needs, toiletries, and washer. Balcony… where you can enjoy sun; breeze and watch the foot traffic. Completely quiet at night through early mornings. Lighting is phenomenal, strong Wi-Fi, Netflix and more. Beds are extremely comfortable. Room darkening blinds. Air conditioned and lovely hot water. Street parking.
  
  You can walk across the street to your Acropolis museum or head up to Acropolis, Pantheon, Dionysius and Athena Temple. Zeus Temple is a few blocks away. You can also grab the Hop On – Hop Off in front of the Zeus Temple. There are grocery stores, rental car options in every direction. Safe neighborhood and very secure property. Grab taxi, public transportation (metro 6:00AM – 11:30PM 9€) to get just about anywhere in Athens.

  The property was really comfortable. it had 2 nice bedrooms, a nice bathroom, sitting room and kitchen and balcony. It was perfectly located at the entrance to the Acropolis so was a really great base. The host was very responsive and helpful. There was an iron and a really good hair dryer. AC was perfect. Couch was really cosy & great TV. Highly recommend
  
  What could be improved: The property was great. I would have liked to have some balcony furniture but the host explained this was not possible. The bathroom door could benefit from a lock.

  We enjoyed our stay at the property. It’s in a superb location, a 2 minute walk to Acropolis entrance. The apartment was very easy to access, nicely furnished, clean, and very quiet. Beds were very comfortable.Lots of restaurants and cafes right outside.

  Love everything about the apartment. It is located in a quiet building which is only a step away from Acropolis. It's super easy to be accessed, super clean, and has everything that we need, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, etc. We will definitely recommend it to everyone.
