The neighborhood has that authentic Greek residential feel, with little tavernas tucked between apartment buildings and locals who clearly live here year-round, not just tourist spots. There’s this bakery about two blocks away that opens ridiculously early (like 5:30 AM), which is perfect if you’re catching an early ferry to the islands. The owner speaks decent English and makes these cheese pies that are honestly better than anything I had in the touristy areas. Parking can be a bit tricky – it’s street parking mostly, and you’ll want to get back before evening when the locals return from work, but it’s manageable. The host was really responsive too, which you don’t always get with these newer listings. They actually sent detailed directions that made sense, not just a pin drop that leads you to the wrong building entrance.   Great location near the port and not far from train station. Was very nice being able to wash some clothes too durning our travel.

  Check-in was easy. The host provided the two codes needed for the main door and the lock box for the apartment key. The apartment was well located, about a 15 minute walk from the port and about a 10 minute walk from the main metro stop. The apartment was very clean and the bed was super comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: The pictures are a bit confusing as there are multiple apartments available so we weren't quite sure which one we would be staying in. The internet was a little inconsistent, but we were able to use our cell phone data. The shower door doesn't fully close, so the bathroom floor gets a bit wet.

  It was brand new, good location, had everything that you need in apartment. They answered on all of our needs and questions.
