The thing that struck me immediately wasn’t the lobby or the fancy fixtures – it was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about getting the small stuff right. I mean, someone had actually taken the time to adjust the room temperature before I arrived, and there was this subtle ocean breeze scent (not overpowering, thankfully) that made the whole space feel… I don’t know, intentional? The suite itself is what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. You’ve got these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in incredible natural light during the day, and honestly, I found myself just sitting there with my morning coffee longer than usual. The bathroom – and this might sound weird – but the water pressure is absolutely perfect, and the towels are that perfect weight where they’re plush but not so thick you feel like you’re wrestling with them.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to those details that most hotels completely miss. The blackout curtains actually block out light (revolutionary concept, right?), the WiFi works seamlessly throughout the entire suite, and there’s enough outlets positioned where you’d actually want to use them. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the soundproofing kept things peaceful – could barely hear the hallway activity. The housekeeping team has this down to a science too; they managed to refresh everything without moving my stuff around or making the space feel invaded. Check-in was refreshingly quick, and the front desk person actually remembered my name the next day without checking their computer. Small thing, but it matters. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a really well-appointed temporary home than a sterile hotel room, the Poseidon Suite delivers on that promise. Just don’t expect it to stay a hidden gem much longer with ratings like these.
