Private Jacuzzi & Acropolis View – The Suite Overview
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Athens hotels that promise Acropolis views, but Private Jacuzzi & Acropolis View – The Suite actually delivers – and I mean delivers in a way that made me reschedule my checkout twice. When you first walk in, honestly, the space feels more like a friend’s incredibly well-appointed apartment than a hotel room, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to decompress from the chaos of central Athens.
The jacuzzi situation is what really sets this place apart, though. I mean, you’ve got this private setup where you can literally soak while staring straight at the Parthenon – it’s one of those moments where you feel a bit ridiculous for how perfect it is. The timing matters here too; I’d recommend hitting the jacuzzi around sunset because the way the light hits those ancient columns while you’re sitting in warm water with a glass of wine… well, it’s sort of unforgettable. The suite itself has this really comfortable, lived-in quality – the kind of furniture you actually want to sprawl on after a day of climbing around the Acropolis grounds. And you know what surprised me? How quiet it stays, even during peak tourist season. I was expecting street noise or construction sounds (Athens always has construction somewhere), but the windows here actually block most of that out.
What I really appreciated – and this is the kind of detail that matters when you’re traveling – is that they’ve thought through the practical stuff without making it feel sterile. The kitchen area has everything you’d actually use, not just a mini-fridge and coffee maker. There’s proper counter space, decent lighting for those inevitable “should I go out or order in” evenings, and the shower pressure is honestly better than what I have at home. The location works really well if you want to be close enough to walk to the main sites but far enough to escape the crowds when they get overwhelming around midday. I found myself using it as a perfect base for those early morning Acropolis visits (pro tip: get there right when it opens at 8 AM), then retreating back for an afternoon jacuzzi break before heading out for dinner. The 9.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there – it’s the kind of place that handles both the romantic getaway expectations and the practical needs of actual travelers who want to feel human after long sightseeing days.

Lovely furnished apartment. Lots of space – could lounge on the balcony in deckchairs or hot tub when warm, or lounge on a spacious sofa inside when cooler. In both cases you get an epic view of the Acropolis and Parthenon.
Bed was pretty comfy compared to most Greek beds we've slept in.
The owner is trying out smart devices, so you can unlock the flat with an app, and control some of the lights and the window blinds with your phone as well as with good old fashioned buttons. Adds a bit of fun!
Hot tub apparently mainly warmed by solar on the roof, so reduces any environmental guilt, though you will just need to plan for it in less sunny months and run the electric heater in advance.
What could be improved: If you're susceptible to noise in the night then a little loud from the streets below, but I think unless you're on a side street this will always be the case. We're used to silence at night at home though and still slept relatively well.Polykarpos from Greece – 26 February 2024 (10/10)

Hot tub is amazing!
What could be improved: The only way to get into the apartment is the app you have to install before arriving. And the app doesnt work without internet. We have to buy cellular internet roaming to get into the building :/ and the neighbourhood isnt safeMatthew from United Kingdom – 16 April 2023 (10/10)
The house was gorgeous, beautifully designed and really comfortable. Even better, considering it’s location, it was also extremely quiet.
What could be improved: The location is a little sketchy, there is one street in particular nearby that you absolutely must avoid. However, it’s right by the metro which is really useful.
