The location puts you right in the sweet spot where you’re walking distance from Ancient Agora and Monastiraki, but you’re also in this increasingly cool area where local artists have been setting up studios and galleries. I found myself just wandering the narrow streets around the apartment, discovering these tiny tavernas that definitely don’t make it into most guidebooks.

The 9.2 rating makes complete sense once you spend a night here – it’s that perfect balance of authentic Athens character without sacrificing comfort. Sure, being in the historic center means you’ll hear some street life (it’s a city, after all), but the double-glazed windows do their job when you want quiet.   Location spacious and light and airy. Separate rooms for privacy.
  Very clean and comfy. The hosts thought of ironing’s that you might have forgotten to pack.
  So close to all of the caffès and restaurants
  Great little balcony to watch Psiri coming alive whilst having a drink or kafe.

  proximity to everything that is there to do in Athens, apartment was clean and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. we could not hear any street noise in the bedrooms so as long as you sleep in the rooms you are isolated from the bar noises. all appliances and electric outlets worked perfect.
  also very important, there are A/C units in both rooms and they worked perfectly fine. cold cold cold.

  What could be improved: It is indeed noisy, you hear different music of multiple bars at the time which makes sitting in the living room in the evening quite uncomfortable

  Great location on a very busy & lively shopping & dining street. Loved the rainshower & the beds were comfortable. Communication with hosts was flawless & very responsive to our needs. They compiled a list of sightseeing & restaurants which was appreciated. Also, directions to the flat were spot on!

  We loved the location of the property. We only had to go out our front door to be in the heart of the action and it was very clean with all the necessities.
  
  Stathis was extremely helpful with recommendations around the area for food and drinks and he also helped us out when our transport cancelled at the last moment. There were snacks and drinks left for us which was really nice.

  What could be improved: The only issue was there was a slight smell of smoke in the place. We are pretty smoke sensitive, it it didn’t affect our health so that was good. The manager insisted it didn’t smell like smoke, but it did. If you live in the US and are. It used to all the smoke of a European capital, it may bother you,
