Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first booked the Sahara Athens Apartment – I mean, apartment-style hotels can be hit or miss, you know? But this place actually surprised me in all the right ways. The moment I walked in, there was this immediate sense of space that you just don’t get in most Athens accommodations. The living area flows naturally into the kitchen, and I found myself actually using that kitchen more than I thought I would (there’s something about having your morning coffee while looking out at the city that beats hotel room service).

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even during peak tourist season. You’d think being in Athens means constant street noise, but the way this building is positioned – well, let’s just say whoever designed it knew what they were doing. I could leave the windows open at night without regretting it the next morning. The apartment itself has this modern but lived-in feel, if that makes sense. Everything works properly (and trust me, I tested every appliance), but it doesn’t feel sterile like some of those cookie-cutter hotel rooms. The bed is actually comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – and the shower pressure is surprisingly good for a European apartment.

Here’s what I really appreciated though: the little touches that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. There are enough electrical outlets in useful places, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and there’s proper blackout capability in the bedroom. The neighborhood itself is one of those areas where you see more locals than tour groups during the day, which honestly made my morning walks feel more authentic. You’re close enough to the main attractions that you won’t spend your whole day on public transport, but far enough away that you can escape the crowds when you need to breathe. The local tavernas nearby – well, let’s just say I ended up becoming a regular at one place down the street where they remembered my order by day three. With a 9.3 rating, I get why people keep coming back here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Athens, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – somewhere that just works really well.

  Świetny apartament dla rodziny lub większej ilości osób. Czysto i bardzo ładnie. Super kontakt z właścicielami, którzy są bardzo pomocni. Jedynie nie jest to bardzo ciche miejsce.

  Gran apartamento al lado del Museo Arqueológico en una calle muy tranquila. La estación de metro está cercana. Muy amplio y cómodo con muebles nuevos y camas muy confortables. TV en las 3 habitaciones y una tele grande en el salón. Los electrodomésticos muy nuevos y la climatización funcionaba muy bien. El único pero es que la bañera no dispone de cortina (o mampara) y que hay que ir con cuidado porque resbala.
