The neighborhood itself is one of those areas where you see more locals than tour groups during the day, which honestly made my morning walks feel more authentic. You’re close enough to the main attractions that you won’t spend your whole day on public transport, but far enough away that you can escape the crowds when you need to breathe. The local tavernas nearby – well, let’s just say I ended up becoming a regular at one place down the street where they remembered my order by day three.
