My bathroom had this rainfall shower that actually had decent water pressure, and the bed was one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed. What I really appreciated was the blackout curtains that actually worked (you’d be amazed how many hotels mess this up), and the air conditioning was whisper quiet. I’m usually the person who gets stuck next to the ice machine or elevator, but even on the busier floors, the sound insulation was impressive. The whole place has this calm vibe that extends beyond just the décor – it’s in how smoothly everything operates. Check-in was seamless, housekeeping was unobtrusive but thorough, and when I needed an extra pillow at 11 PM, someone was at my door in five minutes.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how it balances that polished hotel experience with genuine warmth. The restaurant doesn’t try to be fancy for fancy’s sake – they just do really good food with ingredients that taste fresh and local. I had this fish dish that the server recommended, and it was honestly one of those meals where you slow down and actually taste everything. The 8.5 rating makes complete sense to me because this isn’t trying to be a flashy five-star resort, but it absolutely nails what a great four-star should be. It’s the kind of place where business travelers feel comfortable working in the lobby, but families don’t feel out of place either. I saw couples on romantic getaways and solo travelers like me, and somehow the atmosphere worked for everyone.   The hotel is located in a nice area, close to many restaurants and the beach promenade. The hotel room was spacious and nicely decorated. The big advantage of our hotel room was a large terrace with a seating area. The staff was very helpful and polite. When we reported the problem, it was quickly solved by the staff.

  1st, the extremely friendly and welcoming nature of the team.. I have spent most of my time over the past year traveling for work and spent most of my nights in hotels in Africa, Asia and Europe.. and the team at Sea View Hotel were one of the most welcoming and accommodating I've ever come across. Made my stay there feel like I am at home!
