What really sold me was the natural light streaming through those big windows. You wake up and the whole place just glows, especially in the morning when the Mediterranean sun hits just right. The bedrooms are generous too, with that kind of solid, restful quiet that’s hard to find in most vacation rentals.
Here’s the thing about Kavouri that most people don’t realize until they’re here – it’s got this perfect balance between being residential enough that you feel like you’re living somewhere real, but close enough to Vouliagmeni that you can hit those famous beaches without much fuss. The neighborhood itself is pretty upscale (you’ll notice the well-maintained buildings and the fact that everyone seems to have a decent car), but not in that stuffy way where you feel out of place walking around in flip-flops. Parking was surprisingly manageable – there’s street parking that actually works, which is sort of a miracle in this part of Greece. The local mini-market is maybe a three-minute walk, perfect for grabbing essentials or that morning coffee when you can’t be bothered to make it yourself. And if you’re into the whole beach scene, Kavouri Beach is right there – nothing fancy, but the water’s clean and it’s never as packed as the tourist spots. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve spent a few days here; it’s one of those places where all the little details just work without you having to think about them.

The apartment is very spacious and stylish (period). It has almost everything you can think of that you need. Comfortable beds. we only used the two doubles not the singles or sofa bed. Large balconies. Good sized bedrooms. Efficient showers. Secure (alarm and good locking). Distant view of sea, lots of green and great sunset views. It wasnt too hot so no need of aircon (or heating). Easy walk to Little kavouri Beach, or beaches near Divani Apollon Hotel. Great clean swimming. Easy bus to Vouliagmeni for more beaches and food/coffees etc. Local shop on main road has a lot of things - simple food, wines, basic fairly priced stuff - and Ipirotissa - a premium food store, bakery and ready made meals has a mixed range of things and prices. You know you are not in a cheap area but the quality at ipirotissa is very good. There is a Sklavenitis supermarket near the bus stop in Vouliagmeni. Getting to centre of Athens takes a while but 122 bus takes you to metro (Argiroupoli) - or a taxi 10-12 euros to Helliniki metro. We also took the 122 bus to Saronida (end of the line) (fabulous coastal road and beaches), 122 to Varkiza coffees, beach, restaurants, supermarkets and Lagonissi too. We stayed here last year for three weeks and this time almost two weeks. Much better for a longer stay - unless you need to be in the area for one or two nights only. Easy taxi to and from airport but longer (and dearer) from Piraeus. Quick 15 min wash washing machine a great help. We didnt need any help but were regularly checked on and offered it if needed. Apartment was much better than last near - a few new things and very very clean. Could be improved: You need to be aware that the main road from Sounion/Saronida/Vouliagmeni/ to central Athens is noisy and busy. Especially in the rush hour. It can intrude when sitting on balcony - but the sound proofing in the house blocks it out when you are inside. Good earplugs mean you can sleep with doors open if needed.

Everything was perfect. Apartment has everything you may need for your vacation! Owner was very helpful and kind, apartment is very nice decorated with atention to every detail🫶

It really is spacious in a well maintained apartment building with a good sized garden. The balcony is excellent, the kitchen well equipped and the decor is exquisite throughout. Great to have 2 bathrooms and overall very comfortable. Baby cot provided, extra blankets available, great to have a dedicated desk to work remotely. Good internet connection. Beds are doubles. We were happy to have stayed here and will return for sure. On street parking almost always available in front of the house.

The appartment has everything we need, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. It is these little details, like the shoehorn at the entrance or the map with instructions about the appartment, that showed us that this place was thoughtfully prepared to provide us with a home away from home. Maria was kindly available to immediately answer our texts or calls. Could be improved: The WiFi was a bit unstable, measuring up to 20 Mbps download.

The place was very spacious and large balcony to eat out with beautiful sunset. Close to Vouliagmeni beach. Walking distance 15 minutes. OK for first time in Athens to explore the area. Price was reasonable for a group. Seafood & fruit in Athens Central Market is very Could be improved: Major road was a bit noisy as many motorbikes and cars tend to race and roar their engines at night. Taxi price was a rip off. Pavements were treacherous. Bus service is not adequate as not regular, some with no windows. Locals are not very friendly to tourists unfortunately. Local amenities are very run down.
