St. Bjur Suites Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into St. Bjur Suites, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name had me curious (is it Scandinavian? Austrian? turns out nobody really knows), but stepping through those doors, you immediately get this sense that someone put real thought into the design. It’s got that boutique feel without trying too hard, you know? The lobby has these rich wood accents and soft lighting that actually makes you want to linger with a coffee instead of just rushing to your room.
The suites themselves are honestly where this place really shines. I mean, when they say “suites,” they actually mean it – not just a hotel room with a sitting area awkwardly shoved in the corner. You’ve got proper separation between the bedroom and living space, and the kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped. I actually ended up making breakfast a couple mornings instead of heading out, which says something because I’m usually terrible at hotel cooking. The bathrooms are spacious too, with these rainfall showerheads that… well, let’s just say I may have stayed in there longer than necessary. One tiny thing though – the walls aren’t the thickest, so if you’re a light sleeper and there’s a family with kids next door, you might hear some hallway chatter in the evenings.
What really impressed me was how the staff seemed to know their stuff without being pushy about it. Check-in was smooth (they had my room ready even though I arrived early), and when I asked about dinner recommendations, the front desk guy gave me three solid options at different price points instead of just pointing me toward the hotel restaurant. Speaking of which – there’s no full restaurant on-site, but honestly, with so many good spots within walking distance, it doesn’t matter. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense to me; it’s that sweet spot where you’re getting genuine four-star quality without the stuffiness that sometimes comes with it. The place has character, the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and you feel like you’re staying somewhere that cares about the details. Plus, parking is included, which saved me about $25 a night compared to other places I looked at. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a home base than just a place to crash, St. Bjur Suites really delivers.

The place was located literally few meters far from the metro station which is connected directly to the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and I had access to everything I needed. Also the pillow was exactly how I like it 😄

Divya from India (9/10)
Excellent location, very convenient for overnight stay.
Breakfast is outsourced to a cafe nearby (5mins walk) which in my opinion was a great idea, as the work was outsourced to the experts. Great breakfast options at the cafe, also vegetarian/vegan. See attached pics, one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Greece during our vacation.
Room is big enough for 3 people, with AC, etc.
Beddings were great. We checked in late night, the girl at the front desk was very sweet, welcomed us and gave us water bottles. Morning checkout was also very pleasant with another girl at the reception.Heather from France (8/10)

The location was ideal, close to the metro, and to everything by foot. We also had a view on the acropolis from our room.
The staff is really nice, always smiling, and helping us to find our way, give advice …
