The neighborhood feels safe walking around at night, plenty of people out and about, lots of little tavernas that stay open late. It’s that sweet spot where you’re central enough to walk everywhere important but still in an area where actual Athenians live and work.   The accommodation is brilliant for a family with two children willing to share a good sofa bed. The location is hard to beat in a fantastic area for eating and experiencing Athens. It’s very close also to the other very good areas and the main tourist attractions. Would stay here again if visiting Athens.
